A different Social Group Question

I have gotten permission to repost a private message from a member of my Social Group.

Seems that some members cannot even post, and no member besides myself can start threads. Please...will a mod help get this rectified?

I think the reason for not much happening in the singles is that it wont let anyone post. Ive heard this from a few people. I cant start a thread, but it says I cant, but it says I can post replies, but it wont let me.
I dont know much about how the app that runs the forum works, but theres somethign up with the settings, Id love to yak in the singles forum but cant...
Help?

Let me copy and paste your message to a Mod and see what the problem is. I've had some issues getting answers in the past, but there seems to be more interest in helping members in recent weeks.

Well, one problem I see right off the bat is that triplxratd isn't a member of your Social Group. They have to actually join the group before they can post in the forum.

What about the people who ARE members of the group? It's come to my attention that they can's start threads either.

Some of your members are still under the 15 post count, and will not be able to create or start a "new" thread outside of the "new members forum".

This is a standard occurrence.

However, there are members who DO have enough post history, and STILL they cannot start threads in the group.

THIS is the issue I would like answers to.

How about you either post who is having difficulties creating a thread, or if privacy is a concern, pm a moderator or admin with the list so they may attempt a proper troubleshoot to see if it is a simple fix or possibly user error or oversight.

I would also be helpful for them if you include the message they receive when they attempt to "create" a new thread.
