A family that vapes together...

So in my family, my oldest brother was the one who got us in the vaping. He is 29 years old and had been smoking since he was 14. My second oldest brother is 27 and he has smoking since 13. My mom has been a smoker of close to 40 years and I smoked for 2 years, and I can proudly say all 4 of us have been smoke free since we started vaping almost 3 months ago! Its a great experience to share with your family and a great way to keep each other motivated through this journey. So now I say "A family that vapes together stays together"

Anyone else have a similar experience?

I got my last roommate into vaping, it worked well as far as the liquid was concerned, what I didn't like she did, and vise versa.

My wife miraculously quit smoking 19 years ago. Of my 4 kids only one smoked. The one that did smoke started vaping 2 years ago, I messed with it on and off for 2 years till finally making the switch 100%.
More of a Father and Son thing in this case...

My family doesn't smoke, but I dipped for 10 years. After I switched to vaping a lot of my friends started to as well. They saw the benefits and wanted to either quit smoking or just have the freedom of vaping. Once one person starts, everyone follows.

I tried my best to convert my brother to e-cigs, but unfortunately you can't convert somebody who does not want to quit smoking traditional cigarettes. It seems you had the fortune of having family members who truly wanted to quit. That being said, I did convert my best friend to e-cigs. He went on to convert at least 4 other people including his soon to be wife, so that's something!

What an awesome story! It was my brother as well that introduced me to vaping. I had no clue there was a whole world beyond the "cig alikes" from the convenience stores. Totally got me off the smokes as well. 3 siblings (me included) and one husband, all smokers. 2 switched to vaping--one brother and one husband left to convert.

Very inspirational! I hope I can come back with a totally "smoke free family" story soon myself.

It's amazing how fast it can spread and how widely popular it has become, so many lives are being saved and thats pretty awesome

I'd been vaping for a week when I lent my son a spare Ego and some juice, because he'd run out of cigarettes. About a month later, he's only smoked a handful of cigs and has bought his own set up now.
So proud of him!

It was my boyfriend who got me started vaping. When he first mentioned that he wanted us to try e-cigs, I was resistant at first and just thought there was no way I was going to give up my cigs. But then I started doing research, a lot of good stuff on here, and I ended up jumping into it wholeheartedly. Now I'm the one who has given up the analogs...13 days now!... and he's still half smoking, half vaping. But if it wasn't for him suggesting this, I don't know if I ever would have tried it, so I'm really glad he did. Now to just help him find the right setup to get off the stinkies completely!

I was introduced to vaping by my girlfriend. Since then I have converted both of my cousins, my uncle and his wife, which pretty much makes up for all the smokers in the family

My son turned me on to vaping. I had smoked for 46 years. Soon as i tried it i quit the cigs and havent touched one since. I have copd and i truly know the cigs were killing me cuz when i got my ck up at the doc lung specialist all my oxygen#s were UP tremendously.
