Hey folks --
So I've spent the last 10 days devouring all the information on this site, but I'm still sort of confused about hardware and hardware maintenance -- just don't have a great mind for that stuff in the first place, and not really finding the type of info I'm looking for. So perhaps y'all will help me out?
I'm vaping with a Kanger Evod starter kit I bought. Came with two Evods, two batteries labelled Evod and seven atomizers. Been really happy with it (it arrived on July 6, and I haven't smoked a cigarette since then... 15 year 30-cig a day smoker until that exact day!)
Question one: one of the Evods contains my main ADV. About five days ago I noticed the vape quality was reduced -- less of a hit. After sourcing it out it feels like it's drawing too much air somehow. I started plugging one or two of the little holes with my hands which seems to help, but is annoying. I can also see a VERY tiny gap between how far down on the battery the clearo will sit... like a fraction of a millimetre, but there's just the tiniest gap where the base of the threading is visible that isn't true for my other clearo. I don't think it was originally like this and I can't tighten it any more.
Any ideas about what to do here? Do I need to clean the atomizer? Or is something about the set-up keeping it from fully screwing down? Or is this all in my head?
Question two: I'd like to get a tank for some of the clearo-eating juices I have on the way. What I can't figure out is whether or not these Evod-branded batteries and atomizer attachments that came in the kit will fit with tanks. I see all this lingo about different types of batteries and I don't really know how these ones apply. The instructions offer zero help. Do I need to get a new battery and tank set-up?
Thanks folks!
(P.S. -- managed to luck into AVE being open this morning and got a big ol' 100 mL of Boba's and a smaller one of Gorilla juice. Can't wait to try it!)
