I'm on the verge of placing an order for the Precise Plus 10440, but there are a few things I'm still unsure of. I'm currently vaping on a Provari that is generally set to 4.2 using a regular resistance Joyetech 510 atomizer. With a P10 using a low resistance atomizer, will this be about the same thing? Also, I've read that using ICR batteries is somehow better for upping the strength of the device, while AW batteries are safer or better in some way? And the atomizers on sale on the Super T site have black tips in the pictures, and just I want to make sure that these are removable drip tips (such a newb, i know). Sorry if this has been answered already, but I'm at my research threshold.

Welcome RCW49!

The ICR AW is preferred as it outperforms the so called IMR in load tests, both in higher mah and ability to hold higher voltage under load. The LR will produce more vapor and throat hit then the regular resistance, i do know it will taper off, unlike a regulated mod. The tips do come off and accepts most 510 drip tips. Hope that helps!

With a fully charged battery, you will get a harder hit than your provari set at 4.2 with a SR atty, but the battery will drop down fairly quickly and will get closer to the hit that you are used to. The ICR batts are the aw ones, the imr ones are ok but do not hold the voltage under load as well as the icr aw ones. I am assuming the black tip you are seeing is just the standard empty cartridge that comes on most atomizers but I will check the site to see, if it is, then those are pretty useless unless you use cartridges. I just throw those away and use my t-tips. I love the P10, batt life is not great but it hits really well because of the rhodium contacts.

EDit; beat to the punch...
