This is my fourth atomiser for the ego t and its really annoying as 3 of them have burnt out now and my spare one i am using now has a burnt taste to it and it is brand new, does anyone know why this is? Also i have taken the wick out to see if there is any problems with it but now it will not click back into place, has anyone else had this problem?
Im switching to the cartomiser but i am wondering how long they last roughly and if you could post links of the best cartomisers to buy it would be a big help as i dont really no what i am looking for. im just really fed up with the atomisers now but i really do like the ego t kit.

Thanks

Hiya Jaken, unfortunately I have no experience with the eGo-T atty's but would assume the burnt taste to be either the primer or a wicking issue and would bet from what I have heard about the eGo-T that you have a wicking problem- Not enough juice getting to the atty, this could also account for your attys burning out quickly.

As to cartos, i would suggest the Boge LR(2ohm) cartos for your eGo batteries these perform well for me and I see many other posters here recommending them.

I buy my Boge cartos here: 510 LR Cartomizer (BOGE) - Blank 5 pack | Cartomizers | iVAPE

Full disclosure - The shop is close to me and I like the owner so I may be biased:D

Got the same problem only living 5 minutes away from ENS.

If you want to use a tank on your eGo-T, get a tank for your eGo-T.

Also i have taken the wick out to see if there is any problems with it but now it will not click back into place, has anyone else had this problem?

To get the spike plate that holds the wick back in place pop the spike into an empty tank and push it home VERY firmly into the cone it will click back into place :D

I don't know why you are burning out so quickly, but you aren't the first person I've heard discuss this, a friend of mine goes through a T atty a week, which in my opinion is waaaayyyyy to much, I've got one that is over 4 mths old and until recently was seeing a good 3-4mls a day.

What you could do whilst the spike plate is out is put the fluffy wick bit into a gas ring flame and let the crud burn off until the wick is almost white again, it won't burn, any burning is the crud from the juice burning off. What you could also do is "dry burn" the coil at the same time, which basically involves putting the atty (with out the spike plate) back on the battery and pressing the battery just for a few seconds at a time (I blow gently on it too) until the coil glows red - BUT BEWARE you can actually cause the wire to melt and then you will lose the atomiser completely so do this with caution and if you feel you have nothing to lose.

Once you've done all this your atty should be good as new, but make sure you reprime it was several drops of juice before you try pulling on it or you will scorch it all over again.

Another thing to note, is make sure when you are drawing on your PV angle the device downwards, not horizontally (or even upwards) this will affect the wicking and cause the dry burning taste, and once you get that it's hard to get rid of without going through the procedure above - all over again!

    Hope that helps.
