Hello,

I posted on here quite some time ago and I got a lot of feedback from the community regarding which e cig I should get and I remember the top 2 recommendations were the eGo and the 510 and I was just wondering if these are still the top 2 recommendations?

I'm smoke about 15 - 20 cigarettes a day, Marlboro menthol 100s so I would like a TH comparable to those if at all possible! I've been looking at the following kit: Joye eGo

Do you guys recommend this for what I'm looking for, if not should I go with the 510? I would really like to order it sometime this week and since I'm a first time vaper I would like to know what else I should order? I know I need some extra atomizers and juice but other than that I have no idea!

Any help? I really wouldn't mind ordering it in the next few hours! ;p

I also stumbled upon the egoT and noticed that it was getting a lot of bad reviews, but I had a question.. what is it exactly? I notice that it uses tanks, is this something I should check out or what?

Edit: After seeing quite a few video reviews I do believe that I am going to go with the egoT system

Hi,
I HAD to quit smoking for several reasons. I was a pretty good quitter...I had done it many, many times. ;-). I started with the SmokeStik before I knew about anything else. I went with that because of whatshername on Letterman and my father had gotten my sister one of those "as seen on TV" ones a year or so ago. I found I liked "vaping" and thought I would be able to quit analogs. After a short time (maybe 2 weeks) I realized the SmokeStik battery life was just not long enough for me. After alot of reading and videos, I went with the Ego-T from Cignot. I am very happy with the Ego-T. I already had some e-liquids from Rob at Good Prophets (AAA++ supplier) but have found that I don't really like all the crazy flavors. I realized I just liked to smoke and liked to smoke menthol cigarettes. Now I like to vape ..but only really like to vape a menthol flavored liquid. Thanks to vaping I have not smoked an analog in over a month, although I do hope to quit vaping in the future also. My goal was not just to flip-flop addictions. Good luck with your decision.

I bought an ego t from janty and was unhappy at first with the tank. the flavors are muted and my two attys leaked. Since I have switched to dripping with lr attys and have seen the light. Much better flavor and vapor. Battery life is amazing if you get manual batteries. But dripping isn't for everyone its tedious and a bit messy. Imo if you want something that looks somewhat like a analog go with the ego minus the tank. You can get them.cheap.

however if you want something a little better with more versatility try a buzz or infinity they are variable voltage and while they may not look like an analog they will allow you to find what you like without having to buy tons of mods. Feel free to.ask any questions

It's actually a hard question to answer, everyone has different preferences when vaping. I vaped for months before I found a really sweet spot, however, even in the beginning vaping was better to me than smoking. The eGo is a good starter kit, if it doesn't satisfy you, you can upgrade to a mod, but it is a good kit to get you started. I use my eGos and Rivas every day and feel no need to upgrade right now (unless I find a very sweet deal). I started with a Mega 510 kit and that didn't last too long because of battery life. If I had started with a standard 510 I would have been looking for something else within a week.
I would suggest you get a drip tip, a pack of standard cartomizers, a pack of LR cartomizers and a LR atty; not because I want to break your bank account, but because it will be much cheaper in the long run if you vape by different methods in the beginning, so you don't waste time and money trying to find your sweet spot. Juices are another thing altogether--everyone has different tastes and there is no way to predict what flavors you will like. However, if you want juices that really have a tobacco taste, my all day vape is Max Ultimate that I DIY with flavouring from Flavourart. Flavorart is used by many vendors and has a line of flavors to called vape heaven that somewhat resemble analog taste--only not that bad....
It is hard to find what you absolutely love as far as juices go, so you want to get samples of juices 3-6ml to find what works for you. Another thing that complicates the whole juice issue is that your taste will change.

As Sainted_S said, it depends what is important to you. If you'd like something very simple to use and as close as possible to the experience of smoking those Marlboro menthol 100s (and you have $90 to invest up front), I recommend the Bloog MaxX Fusion Mini PCC Kit, which I reviewed a few weeks ago. And choose the Menthol cartomizers, of course. [Use a discount code like LEAFORD or VGDTEN to get 10% off, which cancels out the high shipping cost.]

If you would rather not pay as much to get started – and are comfortable with a fatter (and slightly longer) e-cig – get a $30 Riva-510 from Liberty-Flights ... then follow Sainted_S's advice about drip tips, standard and LR cartomizers and atomizers. [Click the 20% Discount icon on the upper left of the screen to get that $30 price.]

This article talks more about the pros and cons of each type of e-cig.

dude! you should check out the E-Power at madvapes.
Its like an Ego, except you can replace the battery and switch, so if the battery should die (which is inevitable, especially with the Ego), you can replace it without having to buy a whole other battery which costs 25 bucks.
Titanium E-Power Replacable Battery eGo kit!
Check it out!
If I would buy an e cig now, I would totally get that without a doubt. Besides, the battery in those is really solid, and shouldnt require replacing for a good long while

Here is a review of the unit if you are interested:
