A few questions from a newbie (never had a mod).

It's funny you ask because I was looking for my Buzz today and couldn't find it and when I got up I noticed it was under me with the carto next to it. It had been pulled off the end not unscrewed and it has happened in my pocket a number of times but the threads on the Buzz are still fine.
BTW I've had mine at least a yr.

You're more likely to strip the threads on a carto/atty than on your mod. The threads on carto's and atty's are usually aluminum where threads on a mod are steel or brass.

Yep. My Buzz has hit the ground a few times with the carto side down and stripped out the threads on the adapter but the threads on the cap are fine. That's why I keep a drawer full of assorted adapters. Those things strip pretty easy.
BTW, glad to hear that the meters work with an adapter. I have a bunch.
