Are there any other tweaks that are necessary to add a voltmeter? Or is this a simple addition to any box mod?

I'm going to use 14g copper wire. Is there any reason why I would want to use 12g?

I would like to use a 60a mechanical momentary switch but is 60a totally necessary or overly flashy?

Can you buy a 510 with an adjustable connection for custom box mods? I don't like the idea of spring loaded...

I appreciate any help that is given :)

For the voltmeter it would be good to add a switch so you can control when the voltage is measured, not all the time.

Go with the 14g wire. 12 is less resistance, but then again copper strip is even better and at some point you are chasing unicorns.

For switches, a DC rating is better than AC. That might make a difference with the switch you have chosen, but if you want to use it, then go for it.

The one thing I would look closely at in seeking a high amperage mod is use of 26650's. They have a higher mAh rating, but the amperage does not compete with quality 18650's. If you want the additional mAh, then you could go with triple parallel. Just a thought.

For the connector, the spring does not carry the current, it is internal and the walls of the pin handle the current. From design, usability and simplicity, I don't see what is not to like, it is very automatic.
