Yesterday, I was getting my cold weather work stuff out. In one of the pockets of my coat, I found half a pack of marlboro lights. I stuck them back in the pocket and then put the coat in my car.

I've had access to half a pack of marlboro lights for about 36 hours now. I still haven't gone to steal one. I've barely even thought of them! Instead, I've been happily vaping. Amazing

I've tried to quit smoking multiple times in the past. Both with the patch and with the gum. Whenever I found a cigarette? It was almost unbearable to not smoke it. I wanted them so badly.

I've only ever quit twice before now and both times were cold turkey and obviously didn't last. I was amazed that my first day of vaping I only smoked 2 real cigs and only smoked others when I was out of supplies for my PV during the first week. Since then none.

Good for you Rocks! it will get even easier, I have 5 unopened packs of my cigs and a half full one in my car, doesn't even tempt me....cept the other day when I went back to work and grabbed two batts that hadn't been charged yet by mistake! But I just chewed gum for three hours till I got back home. And believe me I won't make that mistake twice!

I had pretty much the same thing. I had an almost full pack of Misty Lites the day I started vaping. I smoked 2 the 1st day, 1 the 2nd day, and then none after that. That pack stayed in my junk drawer until a few weeks ago when a relative took them. Tried to get her to borrow a battery and some cartridges instead, but nooooo. But now she's vaping and doing great with it.

Good news! And it really does keep getting easier... I can't imagine smoking a cig! Not when I can be vaping banana cream pie, or chocolate, or cappuccino, or.....

Yea isn't that a great feeling? I have a whole pack of cigs...minus three(some may remember when I very first got my vk and only had one battery at the time and my battery died right after work)anyways....I have basically a whole pack sitting on my dresser and I don't even think about them. I don't even know why there still sitting there and not in a trash can?

Congrats Rocks!!

V4L has enabled me to quit smoking while living full time with a smoker, so I always have access to those analogs. Just no desire for them! I'll convert him when he's ready!

I had access to a pack in my car, since I started vaping I only tried to take a drag... ending up throwing the cig after 2 hits.... Since then the pack stayed in the glovebox. on tuesday after 8 days of vaping I gave it away to a hobo that came to my window at a red light. I feel relieved.... and I made the hobo really happy!

I have been smoke free for 92 days. This, after smoking two packs a day for 50 years. In the past when I tried to quit I always had cheat cigarettes hidden somewhere and the quiting was actually a farce. Since I started vaping I have not once had the urge to smoke an analog. I think vaping is great and this forum is fantastic.
