So a few weeks ago I picked up a Fifty One Trio (Yeah, I know... now I find out more about this...) and wasn't impressed. Still, I show it to a friend of mine who then picks one up as well and starts researching e-cigs. He finds the ECF and within a week he's jumped up to the GOGO. Well, it certainly saves me some research and I've now ordered and received the iGo. Quick shipping and great to have it, but darn it, wouldn't you know that the iGO shows up before any of the juices!

So far I'm loving the iGo. I'm still trying to make the best of the Fifty One Trio redline by dumping the nasty juice in the cartridge and using it to test the new flavors I'm ordering without having to fill a full cartomizer. Basically, it seems like the battery time will be fine for me (1100 mah vs. 1300 on the GoGo) and I like the fact that it uses the KR808 connection. Of course, now in fully into new gadget mode and trying different sized 808 cartos, iGo cartos, considering ordering a drip tip and even a drip-o-mizer if I can figure out why I need it. So much for saving money by not buying analogs, hee-hee. Also moving into the Johnson Creek spiced apple cider juice. Yum.

Keep us posted on how you like the iGo. I'm torn between that and the GoGo as the next PV and would love to hear your take on the iGo.

My two PVs happen to be the GoGo and the iGo. I started with the GoGo (which I'm quite happy with) but when I decided that I wanted a second kit I decided to grab an iGo instead of a second GoGo. At the time both were in stock - but since I already had the GoGo - I thought I would try out something with the flexibility of a KR808-1 connection so I wasn't tied to just the 3mL cartomizers of the GoGo especially for those samples of juices that Kat over at Velvet Vapors along with other vendors tend to throw in with an order of juice.

Let me make this easy - they are both excellent choices (and they both happen to be available right now which can't always be said of the GoGo.

Battery - 1100mah vs 1300mah - basically a wash. Unless you're a seriously heavy vapor both should last you all day long. From everything else that I've seen from other posters - they both come off the charger at 4.2 volts (not under load) and tend to stay fairly consistent until the battery is nearly drained.

Cartomizers - again, largely a wash. However, the GoGo cartomizers are a little easier to fill since the iGo carts are a one-piece cone and carto design. What that means is that the opening is tapered towards the top and a little tougher to see what you're doing when filling. Not a deal breaker by any means. Also the GoGo carts get a slight nod with a separate cone in that I can throw a 1/4" label on it with what juice is inside which is then covered by the cone when in use - handy. Not really an option with the iGo. However, there are plenty of colored drip tips that you can use on the iGo to color-code for flavor so there are options. Also - the GoGo (stock - since there are drip tips that will fit) are "bigger" around since the iGo does taper to a whistle tip. Basically it amounts to a slightly different mouth feel but not a big deal either way.

Cleaning - cartos. Haven't had the need to clean out a iGo cart so can't really directly comment on that. However, I've had mixed success with cleaning GoGo carts. Most of this I'm chalking up to still being fairly new and learning what the hell I'm doing. Having said that - there are a number of the GoGo Nation who have gotten into the habit of removing the filler from the carto and really getting those suckers clean. I've not managed this little feat - but with the iGo's cart design all I can say is good luck in even trying.

Carto Consistency - iGo so far has been lovely. I've had a couple of GoGo cartos go flaky on me (yes, that's a technical term) where I'll top off a perfectly fine carto and then get nothing and I mean nothing from it. I can pry pins all I want on the battery or the cart and still zip. Annoying at best especially when I've just topped the damn thing off with 15-20 drops. Having said that - this seems to only have happened with the first run of GoGo carts (which are paper wrapped) and it's not something I'm hearing a ton of chatter about in the hardware forums. Either way - they both cost $3 each - so they are pretty disposable in any event.

Flavor / TH / Performance - VERY SIMILAR. Maybe (and I do mean MAYBE) a slightly tighter draw on the iGo (more akin to an analog) and the GoGo is known for a rather 'airy' draw which I can attest to. Not really a positive or negative to either 'side' but something worth mentioning. It does also mean that the iGo is slightly quieter when in use as the GoGo does have a bit of a 'whistle' associated with it. Outside of that, I'm hard pressed to tell a difference with the same juice filling up a brand new carto on either model.

Vendors - The GoGo is available (currently) from either CigEasy or Nhaler and the iGo is (currently) only available at Nhaler. I've placed a handful of orders from both and they have both provided EXCELLENT service and VERY fast turn-around.

Thanks davedbc. I'm still torn but have 2 more paychecks to wait on before I make the decision. I will admit I am starting to lean towards the iGo if for no other reason then I have 40 808 cartos from my current kit so they wouldn't go to waste or my wife (She has already stated she's stealing my 808 when I get the new PV).

I have a feeling I may just have to toss a coin and pick one then wait a bit and order the other. Either way it sounds like a win.

Hey, I look at it this way.... I started with a S51 trio from a smoke shop... a bit overpriced, but not too bad. It got me into e-cigs/vaping and on to better stuff. You're correct on the cartridges, but the good news is that (last I knew) the S51 trio was a 510 atty connector. Once I found that I could use my standard 510 atties on the S51 Trio, I just had another battery to use until it died.

I've since moved on to box mods and 5 volts (only took a month or two)... But I look at the whole thing as a positive experience. So, welcome to ECF and to vaping!
