A great day for vapemail...

Black afc cap from VTC
2nd Cyclone from MOV
LP Grand from Rob
Tripoli polish to work my silver plated Army jump wings down to brass.

I set up my first dual coil ever for the afc, 8 wrap, 28awg,1/16 bit, 1.1Ω each and it came in at .6Ω .




I wasn't really prepared for the onslaught and almost made myself nic sick with 12mg. Not having done a lung hit in decades, I ended up mixing some unflavored pg/vg and reloaded. Much better... now we have plumes but I doubt I could make a habit of that. I think I prefer my 1Ω single coils.

The black wrinkle Lp Grand with my olive drab Grand. Three coats of clearcoat on that OD . Later on, the brass jump wings will give her more character.

That's so cool getting vapemail! I only got 1 package today, my cyclone from MOV. My black AFC shipped out today from VTC. Can't use the AFC until I can afford my next Reo, an LP Grand. Love your reos!

Dang, OD green! That brings back memories. One of my drill sergeants was about 5'3" but could chew some a**.... 40 years later I can still see his little mustache in my face....

Yeah those guys leave an impression. My son's a Marine and tells the story of walking on base talking to a DI, someone walked up and saluted the DI. The DI then said "Sir I'm supposed to salute you", the response oh yeah, I saw your face and the salute was automatic.

Indeed it does bring back the memories! I can still picture my DI with his smokey the bear hat brim touching my forehead as he shouted. Great old days!
