A Hello, and a question regarding Vision Vivi Nova

Hi All,

First post for me

I joined ECF a while ago when I first started using ecigs, and needed info on what product to buy, I hadn't even made a post before I came across the Vision Mini and Vivi Nova and have been happily using them ever since.

When trying to find new coilheads today on the internet I came across some sites saying that they have been discontinued! Is this correct, and does anyone know a UK supplier who may still be able to provide genuine 2.8Ω Vision coilheads (or decent alternatives from unknown manufacurers)? Alternatively, does anyone buy from the USA - might there be any suitable suppliers there?

The thought of trying to find a completely new clearomizer product to use regularly (and replacing the ones I already have) is daunting.

Any help would be much appreciated,

Hi Don.

I have some Vivi Nova heads somewhere, they can be rebuilt with Silica wick and Kanthal wire... it's what I learned on.

The last 20 were sent to someone in Scotland (is that where you are?)... and I kept the rest for back-up.

If you don't want to rebuild, maybe you could try vaping Vision.

They do another type/make of Vivi Nova.

These won't fit the Vision ones.

If I was in your shoes, I'd swap to another type of clearomiser instead. It would be worth it in the long run.

How long did the Vision replacement heads last you?

Thanks for the replies guys (and sorry to take so long to get back to this thread).

Those Boge clearomisers look good, and reasonably priced too. I'll probably buy a couple of those to try. I have a few old heads for my Vivi Nova so it may be worth learning how to rebuild them myself as well.

The time that the Vision heads lasted me varied somewhat - but maybe roughly 3-4 weeks each (and yes, I am in Scotland)

I'll order some of those Boge items now, and thanks for the advice and the welcome

The genuine Vision heads at 2.8 ohm resistance are still available at some sellers in the states. Here's a link to a vendor I have purchased from recently at a very good price - Vision Vivi Nova Replacement Wick 1.8 & 2.8oHms

Should you be looking for the 2.4 ohm heads, here is a source I have used lately, once again genuine Vision brand, which have the slot in the bottom pin and the concave silicone head cap without the metal spike - http://www.ecigsupply.com/Vision-Aurora-BFT-Replacement-Coil_p_782.html (They refer to them as Aurora, but they are Vivi Nova heads)

You may need to check about each vendor's international shipping policies, but at least there are sources. Good luck!
