As some may know from the video's i had one fire bird that did not want to play nice on my ego. At first i thought it was a design flaw, but after watching a few more video's i noticed that people had no issue on their mod's and low power devices alike.

So this got me to wondering if it was just a hit or miss thing, or if it was something that could have happened to a certain batch. With this thought i tore open the packaging for my second one and had no issue. This in turn got me to wondering what was wrong with the initial one i tried, and so i set off to experimenting, and after a small trick that seen it worked. So in the event someone runs into the problem here is how to fix it.....(please excuse the pictures, the camera does not auto focus, and well i did not want to spend hours on making them all purdy like)

View attachment 110107 As you see this is the fire bird why i felt the need to show you this picture first i have no clue

View attachment 110109 As you see it is actually the air intake how that is located on the threading that is the issue with all this. If you happen to take a good eye ball on it, and you see something like poly fill, then you need to clean this out, do so VERY carefull!

View attachment 110110 For this case i thought i would use the needle tip that came with the filling syringe and ever so slowly pushed it in while turning it, like i was using a screw driver. you have to use it on both air intakes

You can use a paper clip, but again you do have to be careful so as not to raise the post (and yes it can be raised this way)

Hope this helps some that may run into this, and yes it works ;)

He is jealous as he notices in his head are talking to shades and he is then going to give a chuckle at sun and say that he is so very sorry that the eyes are old and though glasses should be worn they are not.......talking in 3rd person is not that hard for him for under other names some publication have been done in story form

Now, if I copy the text into Google translator, we may get my lingo. lol Gee it's like learning Vapenese all over again!
There are so many talented people on this forum, no one ceases to amaze me.

The "you're fired" birdy is gurgling tonight, at a little more than a quarter full, or almost three quarters empty (how ever you choose to see life through clearos) . This must be an all or nothing device. I can't recall which video mentioned the 'pressure' element, but I will be topping this up at half point.

Drac has noticed that when Drac encounters some equiptment that does not perform like it should, Drac uses Carolin's Visa and gets another one.
Drac

See remark above about talent around here....clearly you are a master problem solver too :D

The first one I opened had the no draw problem, I solved it by blocking the bottom of the connector and blowing till the air came out the side holes..

Also check the ohm's on the Firebirds.. I noticed that it was heating fast and was taking quick draws.. figgering it was just breaking in. It was when I was getting this great throat hit on my 3.7 device that I thought something was amiss.
These are supposed to be 2.6 to 2.8 ohms the one I am using now is reading 1.9 ohms. and it is still working 2nd refill..
I opened another one and checked it and it read at 2.8 ohms so the next one will be different for sure.

The clearing the holes trick does work. Expect these tanks to get leaky though at about 1/4 tank, I refill when I'm at about 1/3 left and that seems to work. Still far better than cartomizers and top feeding tanks even with the fiddling. Filled mine about 10 times now without cleaning, probably getting close to time, gotta pick up some vodka...

If your phoenix is leaking, there are three possibilities: your top silicone seal isn't sitting properly on the tube, the fill hole was enlarged and isn't sealing any more, or you've refilled with air bubbles in the syringe. The other mistake I've seen people make is after cleaning they don't push down the air tube hard enough to snap it into place.

I have 5 of these on the go, all have been cleaned and reused many times, and the only time I got a leak was when I wasn't paying attention and filled it right side up. I vape these puppies right down to dry wicks.
