Hey there everyone, my name's Andy. Just recently turned the big 21 and currently staying in California. So far, I'm completely loving my vaping experience with the community and overall just the art of vaping and I definitely feel like this is turning into a hobby for me. It's definitely not a cheaper alternative to smoking for me at the moment, but who could put a price on health right? I was a smoker for about 3 years before this and I remember at nights when I was smoking I would feel chest pains and having constant needs to take deep breaths. Have been feeling 150% better since putting down those stoges 4 weeks ago and picking my new hobby. So in the four weeks that I've joined the vaping community I was so fascinated by vaping, I spent many hours doing research on it, and found such a deeper side to vaping that I didn't know exist. Before this, I had picked up a starter kit vape many months back and it ended up breaking on me around a month, and the weeks coming up to it breaking, it was performing terribly. This turned me off on vapes and I sort of just forgot about it until recently I found the need to quit smoking again. I'll tell ya how things went from my first week of picking up a vape again, until now:

Week 1: A week after my birthday, I had a good amount of excess cash from my birthday money and decided you know what? I'm going to pick up another vape to help me stop smoking, but this time, I don't want one of those ~$50 kits that break on me easy and give me so much trouble with performance, I'm going to get a reliable VV (I kinda knew about mods at this time) and went to my local B&M and picked up a iSmoka eLeaf. It ran me about $80. I had real high hopes for this thing, it was built like a mech mod but with a button, had a pretty nice tank, came in a nice presentation, and for the first week, performed beautifully.

Week 2: My urge to blow more clouds increased and I was reading up on this awesome tank called the Aspire Nautilus. My tank began to leak and the air holes kept getting plugged up so I had to often clean it. I figure this Nautilus would be the solution to all my problems. I pulled the trigger and bought the tank at the B&M for $30. My first session with it was amazing, I was so amazed at how much vapor it produced in comparison to my old tank. However, as days gone by, the vapor production deminished along with old tank problems were starting to show up again. Figured I just needed to clean it, but then I started to look further down the rabbit hole....mechanical mods.

Week 3: I decided over the past weekend that I would grab myself a mech mod + atty bundle off of craigslist because I didn't want to commit myself buying at a B&M (super expensive for a set). I came up with on a Bagua Zen clone mod (pretty shoddy quality if you'd ask me), an Omega atty clone, 2 batteries (Sony VTC5 + LG battery) and a charger for $100. It came in a single coil build (which really disappointed me at first). When I was first dripping with the single coil build it came with, vapor production and taste production was really subpar, pretty similar to my Nautilus tank on the eLeaf. Now I know it was probably just a bad build to begin with. I took my atty to a B&M a couple days later to get a dual coil build and this is truly when my cloud chasing experience started. I was chucking vapor like none other! From that point in, I truly feel in love with the art of vaping and began watching lots of RiP Trippers and different builds and tips for vaping.

Week 4: I'm a huge fan of fighting games, particularly Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, so when I found that there was a mech named Akuma, I HAD TO HAVE IT. Pull the trigger right away and bought the clone. I now use it as my daily driver on an Infinite CLT atty and I just love it. Honestly I can't really even go back to my VV + Nautilus setup anymore because its just not as pleasurable at all. I do use it occasionally while driving so I don't have to drip but anywhere else I have a sitting setting, its the dripper Akuma all the way. I'm excited to continue learning and expanding my knowledge in the world of vaping and honestly I don't feel too intimidated about it at all. Every vape enthusiast I've met has honestly been the nicest guys I know. I come from being in the whole car scene (used to at least) and those guys tend to be huge .......s sometimes.
