I started off with a LUCI. Liked it enough that I ordered a "carton" from them. Well half way through the carton the batteries have like a 10 minute (if that) life.

Pretty frustrating... while I really enjoyed the ease of use, and the flavor, etc, the battery life was a no go.

So I went shopping. Ended up with a pen style from liberty e-cigs: Model RN4072

Beyond the fluid that I ordered (tastes really bad), it seems o.k. Can't tell if it's hurting my throat a tad due to the taste or strength or what.

Leaking appears to be an issue (but that's probably because I'm a newbie) and it's just to big to keep in my mouth while I type. Programmer so that's important.

So I'm going to order some fluid from somewhere else (any suggestions?), and practice a little more filling, but I'm going to need a smaller e-cig of some type.

So I suppose my questions are:

Who do I order Fluid from? Rockymountain i've seen recommended but they are out of stock. Also is "high nicotine" levels harsher in general? My "normal" cigarette is a marlboro medium or a light.

And what's the next step up from a Luci in hardware. I was pretty happy with it, but with their prices replacing batteries and atomizers isn't a smart move.

Don't feel like throwing another 100 bucks out there with out some good advice :)

stma...you may want to invest in a 510 kit...I know RockyMountain has them for about $46 shipped?....Plenty of other sources for liquids available in the supplier section...May want to try MidwestVapor..I have heard they have good prices on e-liquid.PureSmoker has very good liquid as well!...Should be able to keep things under $100. Good Luck!:)The Wiz!(Sorry, forgot....Welcome to the ECF!)

How about $35?

Joye 510 with PCC

Get some juice there as well.

If you absolutely need an auto, go here:

Joye Dura-C 510 Rechargeable Battery - Black - freshsmoking.com

Check out:

Joye Dura-C 510 Mini Essentials Kit - freshsmoking.com

One auto/one manual or you could get a couple of autos

well, if you're a programmer, you need a pass through, shocked that hasn't been recommended yet..

if you want tobacco flavors you're pretty much stuck with dekang juices, if you want some sweeter flavors you need dawn @ ecigsmokestore.com

901 for more flavor, 510 for more vapor - either way get a pcc for travel and a usb pass through

my personal favorite shop is healthcabin.net

I was looking at cignot -- I noticed there were no "flavors" in their liquids.. is it just a standard tobacco taste or something we have to flavor with something from somewhere else?

I'd love to try rockymountain but they seem to be out of stock on everything.

I bought my liquid from liquidxpress...if you live in California, I would say go with them, prices are reasonable and shipping is fast, got mine in just about 2 days.
