A little help with flavor

Hello all,

I am new to this fourm and have a couple of questions. I have been vaping for around 7 months now. I started with a sidewinder battery with an ego kit. I then moved up to a spinner v2 with a mini pro tank 3. I have been happy with my current setup. I recently just purchased a sigelei 20w with a pro tank 3. So you heard the background information here are my questions.

1. What is the best tank/rda that gives the best flavor? I have been happy with the mini pro tank, but feel there are way better products out there.

2. What is the best rda/coil build for a beginner? What tools are needed. Remember my mod is only 20w.

3. What e-juice company have you had the best luck with? I have heard great things about vapor chief and thinking about getting some from them. I am currently vaping some space jam/ obsession line.

Sorry for all the questions... I know you guys have heard these types over and over again. Thanks for the help!

1. If you're looking for another tank with replaceable coils, you should give the Nautilus a try. It won't compare to an RBA/RDA but it's a solid tank with little maintenance to keep up with.

2. The Tobh and Stillare are both great attys that should be good for a beginner. You will need Kanthal (28 gauge or higher considering your 20 watt limit), cotton (CVS sterile cotton balls work great), a clipper (clip the ends of the wires), tweezers (press the coils together), and something to wrap the coils around. I personally use either a screwdriver or a coil gizmo. When you get your atty, I would recommend trying out a simple single micro coil.

3. My favorite vendors right now are Open Source Vapor, Killer Juice, Mt Baker Vapor, and Bionic Vapor.

Hello and Welcome!

The kayfun and it's variants produce awesome flavor when wicked correctly.

You would need some Kanthal. I would suggest 28g for rta coils. You'll need something for wicking. For your first go round I suggest snagging a bag of organic cotton. You'll need something to wrap the wire around to coil it. 1/16 or 5/64 drill bits work or something similar. I use a Stanley precision screwdriver set. You'd probably want to start out at around 1.2 ohms or so for kayfun and go from there.

My coiling toils include but are not limited to: Stanley screwdriver set, drill bits, tweezers, small pair of needle nose, and a small torch.

Definitely try out Nicoticket! They have a subforum here. Customer service is top notch and their juices are delicious!!

It's not completely necessary, but it sure is faster and more effective than a Bic lighter to anneal the Kanthal wire. Considering you can get one for under $12 including a can of fuel, I recommend getting one.

All the tools that I recommended in the above blog that Susan gave you the link to make coil building easier. I do recommend the IGO-W as a good first inexpensive dripper.

I also use a Kayfun Lite Plus rebuildable tank. Great flavor maker but the draw is tighter than I'd like and the vapor production won't match what a rebuildable dripper can provide. I prefer the KFL when I'm moving out-and-about when a dripper is inconvenient.

Information Resources for Your First RBA

I've not found a particular e-liquid vendor that has a large number of flavors that I like enough to continue buying from; its usually a flavor from here and a flavor from there. If you prefer fruit flavors, Dripeez specializes in them and you can custom order your pg/vg ratio along with flavor shots.
