First up, get the Ejuicemeup spreadsheet, it'll make life a LOT easier.

With that, I punched in yer numbers and it spat out:
6.92mL Nic
13.08mL Nonic

Second, once you know how much is used to make 20 just maths it. You'll get just shy of 60mL @18 ([20/6.92]*20 = 57.80)

I can't help you much on the other question though, but I do know it's a tradeoff between vapour and flavour. I can say that my 60/40 (PG/VG) are working fine on both TH/Flav/Vape so far.

Oh yea, I have to note, those #s are purely for unflavoured. Once you start adding flavours the % of nonic will go down to get the same mg of nicotine. That's why the spreadsheet is so handy, it deals with those variables.

18 ml of 52mg/ml nic juice will make 52 ml of 18 mg/ml juice.
Try to get used to using a good ejuice calculator. My favorite is:

I always use 60/40 blend with the 60 being VG. I am crazy about vapor and couldn't care less about throat hit. As a matter of fact, I try to avoid throat hit.
For the "normal" vaper, I would suggest 60/40 PG/VG
