a little rough on my throat

im using the eGo-C 650mAh with 1.8ohm atomizers (or whatever comes with the upgrade kit) and Kanger T2 clearomizer.
the juice im using is Dekang grape 1.6mg (pg/vg 70/30).

now, when i vape it seems a little harsh on my throat. im guessing this is what you guys refer to as the 'throat hit' but it seems quite a bit harsher than when i smoke analogs. the flavour does not taste burnt at all either. is this caused by level of VG in the juice or do i need to get an atomizer with lower resistance?

i have some jugheads extreme vg juice arriving next week so im wondering if that will sold the issue for me. i do not like the throat hit very much. it makes me feel like i have a sore throat. lol

If you don't like throat hit, go with as much VG as possible for the device you're using. Raising the resistance will also lower throat hit (assuming voltage remains the same).

i guess i will wait until i get the jugheads juice next week. i hope the 80-90% VG in this juice will work alright with my hardware. i suppose i should also probably keep some 2.5Ω atomizers around as well.

How long have you been vaping for? Perhaps part of it is to do with it being a new experience? Every smoker who's tried my PV has coughed like crazy and I'm only using a 510 Penstyle...I remind them that they probably did that the first time they smoked too...

Keep drinking lots of water and maybe have some lozenges around for a few days until your next delivery! Don't let this trip you up, you CAN do this!x

Sounds like normal vape transition. Your throat isn't used to the new stuff you're inhaling and is letting you know (much like when you first started smoking). I found that a sip of water before and after each puff really helped keep the sore throat at bay.

You can try reducing the PG or Nicotine... both of those create throat hit. I prefer a 50/50 12 nic blend myself. Still, some flavors are rougher than other's... I'm thinking that they may also contribute to throat hit.

Reduce the PG in yours. I started with a 80/20 PG/VG ratio and it was harsh. I reduced to a 60/40 PG/VG ratio and things got much better for me. Also drink lots of water. Dehydration will cause your throat to become irritated as well.

I agree with rachy - when i first started it felt pretty rough for a day or two. its the nic and PG/VG soaking the throat which, even though we dont feel it, is raw from smoking. like they said make sure to drink fluids while vaping (i drink tea like crazy) and you should adjust soon.
