I'm a new member here. Before I joined, though, I found every question I had would lead me here for the most part. All the info has been very helpful. I am now analog free one month to the day. I took the fam on a cruise last month. The wife told me I wasn't smoking on the cruise. I was very anxious about how that would go down. Figured I'd be sneaking off to burn then chewing a crap load of aspartame filled gum and washing my hands and face a dozen times to try to rid of the smell. Hours before we left oklahoma to drive to Galveston, I stopped at one of the many vape bars here in town an picked up a starter kit and some juice. Didn't take any stinkers with me(accept my daughter). Fortunately my crappy mt 3 held up all week with no problems. I thought I would only like tobacco flavors since I loved smoking, but found I enjoyed a sweet concoction I had brought along. I would go to the bar for a beer and sit along side the smokers, but never even attempted to bum one. Just kept vamping my ... off instead. It was so freeing I couldn't believe I went a week without smokes. I smoked for 22 yrs never quitting except for when I slept. I ha tried vaping before, as my brother is an avid vaper and mod builder, but didn't think it was for me. I had really wanted to quit analogs so I could see my kids grow up as I was 35 when my first was born. 6 months ago I started smoking only organic tobacco and started feeling a lot better but the wifey was pressuring me to quit something awful. I also play guitar at my church, and I always wondered if I smelled like a dirty ashtray when id walk in. I'm sure I did. Anyway I always hated everything about smoking. Just couldn't kick it. I had the leftovers of a pack when I returned from said cruise and smoked them the next Monday at work. It just wasn't doing it for me. That was the last time hopefully forever I touched one. I feel victorious like I wrestled a demon and won. I did however get the dreaded vapers tongue after 2 weeks. That was annoying. I think I overdid the flavor I was on. Taste buds are starting to come around again. I now switch my flavors constantly. Anyway, sorry for rambling. Thanks again. God bless.

Congrats! And welcome. Im coming up on six months all because my 30 year old son quit after 8 yrs of smoking and asked me to at least cut back. It's either all or none for me. Now I can't stand the smell of analogs. My nose and taste buds work so much better now!

Got vapors tongue too when i first started. Switching around flavors fixes that and is fun to change up on flavors.

Now I'm mixing my own.

This forum had been a great resource. Terrible on my wallet. LOL but a small price for staying off smokes.
