A mini review of my first RDA, the Youde Igo-L.

So after waiting all week my Igo-L arrived today! This was my first experience building a coil but I was confident and it came out really well. I used the included wire and silica (I think its 32g kanthal?), put 5-6 wraps and ended up with a perfect 2.5ohms. Popped it on my Vamo2 and dripped some Oh Honey! from HopE Liquids. I must say, this is absolutely the most vapor and the best flavor out of all of my toppers (everything from vivi novas to puritanks to empire dripping attys). GrimmGreen had issues with a loose cap but they must have fixed that issue because mine is nice and tight (you can hold it by the cap on a vamo2 and it doesn't fall off). The airflow with the stock hole is fine although I may make it slightly bigger at some point. I have 3ft of ekowool and 3ft of 33g kanthal a1 so I'm looking forward to doing some low-res builds for my EA clone. I'm not exactly sure why I posted this, I guess just to let anyone who's on the fence about getting an rda know that the Igo-L is a great choice for someone new to rebuildables. I'm an experienced metalsmith so wrapping tiny pieces of wire is nothing new to me but I still think with a little patience anyone can do this.

YAY! That's good stuff! I just picked my "L" back up after ignoring it for a while. It's a good atty. I can't believe the number of roles it's played in my vape-life; the number of holes I've drilled in it, through it, refilled. You might want to check out some 28g wire for lower res. builds. (1.2-1.5Ω)

I definitely want to get some 28g. I have an EHPro EA clone and i'd like to actually take advantage of it but after wrapping a 2.5ohm coil I felt that my Vamo was the best choice. Any recommendations on where to pick up some A1 Kanthal for cheap?

Love my igoL. My poor clearos are just sitting in a box all lonely with nothing to do....

Temco has 100' spools for around $5......with free (USPS First-Class) shipping.....
If you order from their eBay site, you'll probably get it faster -- they "prioritize" sales there vs. the Temco site, IIRC...
