I think it's perfect, there are a lot of mtlr's that have and want 22mm mod for the 22mm tanks.

Okay I just received mine yesterday and have mixed feelings on it.

Pros - small size, rubberized fiinish, power and tc work good, buttons feel great.

Cons - area around usb port gets very hot when charging, although I use external charger anyways.
510 pin threads are very crunchy about half way down, not smooth at all.

Mine came with fw vers 1.01, noticed ver 1.03 is avail. Tried to upgrade to new version but does not recognize device, tried numerous cables, battery change, on and off.. nothing works to get it to recognize the device.

I'm okay with the current ver anyways so I will keep it because I still like the device, but would not buy again.

Where did you find new firmware? I only see Pico not Pico X firmware. Is it the same? The Pico didn’t have the icons I see on the screen on my new X.
ok, just tried. The X is not recognized with the Pico software I have.

It is different. The new firmware of Pico X is not available recently.

The orignal Pico has been my favorite form factor since it came our. It's what I use and carry almost exclusively. I have a Pico X. I like the grippy surface, lighter weight, improved fire button, and smoother threading on the battery cap. If you like the original Pico you'll probably like the X.
