A new star

is born. I was just reading about raidy, a famous modder from Germany. After this I guess he revolutionized the whole hobby with his ingenious builts. Even the industries have copied his ideas.

While rolling through the thread in the german forums, I came across a new member over there, nick chrome.

He doesn't sell his mods neither and he is not in advanced electronics. But I must admit, his designs are very unique. Never saw anything like this before.

Here is a quick overview of his works from the last 3 months or so:

As far as I have understood chrome is working in event management. Could be as a craftsman according to his skills and talents.

I posted a larger version of his small handmade collection. Had to kick the first service for the nag screens. Now seems to display fine. Just double click...

Second from left is a black chrome Vamo with vivi nova. Is he saying he invented it, or is it just part of his mod collection? Also not registering for the forum to read more.

I'd say he isn't doing a traditional mod. His inventions are mainly of artistic nature.

As you can see from left to right:
A bakelite pipe
A regular ego APV (Vamo)
ego-t cover screw driver style
barrel type battery container from an axe's shaft
plumbers nightmare (guess why)
one more barrel type AT with 510 connector
ego-t cover made from copper plumbing pipe

Easy but not very easy to do "clothes" for vaping. I am inspired by this simple ideas to start such a something on my own.

I was wondering if there is more like those presented right here in the threads.

Thanks Puff daddy. There's a guy whose stuff is sold through Discount Vapers who does wood covers for ego size batts. Really nice looking stuff. Don't know if the covers can be salvaged when the egos die out.

Nice wood structure but a little bit dull.

A little more playful would be nice - those are silver coloured. The one below comes with brass rings.

He has taken the whole concept to a comepletely different level. Probably in the future there will be unique designer mods, that will be as symbol of high status as an expensive watch today or a different way to show individuality.
