Hopefully i can save some newcomers some money, Week and a half ago I received my first e-cig. A Yeti 510 from Alt-Smoke with 5 prefilled carts. I was definitely impressed with how realistic it was to smoking. Flavor was so-so.
Went through the 5 carts in about a day. My first mistake, I didn't order any juice. I went down to 7-eleven and grab a pack of smokes and noticed the 20 dollar Njoy starter kit. Bought both. opened the kit screwed on the cartomizer and took a drag. BLEACH!, EWWW! It tasted like a backside, Not that i know what a backside tastes like but it has to be close to Njoys e-juice.
Ordered some juice from Alt-smoke. Till it arrived i was back on regular Cigs. 2 days later my juice arrived. 15ml each of MLB, RY4 and Pina Colada at 12mg.
Was back in business, refilled my carts and went back to vaping. Refilling, topping off. After every few drags i would get the burnt taste again. Carts couldn't wick fast enough. Tried a few different mods with springs, different fillers but none could keep up with me.
Oh and battery life. I would kill one battery before the other was charged. I had to use the Njoy as an inbetween so I could get a 510 battery charged. Of course I took apart the Njoys carts and washed the backside out of them and put my own e-juice in. Automatic battery was a pain though.
Today the mailman dropped of my new Ego-T tank with 1000 mah batterys from Cig-Not. All i have to say is WOW! Night and day difference. Hassle free vaping. I am loving this unit already and I have only been using it 5 hours. If I only bought this one in the first place I wouldn't have wasted money.
I'm 37 yrs old, I have been smoking since i was 15. I have tried patches,gum,lozenges and prescription meds to no avail. The e-cig made it really easy. My last analog was 5 days ago. No withdrawls or cravings that I've noticed.
To sum it up, to all the people who are about to buy an e-cig. Avoid my errors!
1. Order extra juice when you buy your e-cig even if it comes prefilled.
2. Forget about it being the same size as a regular ciggerette, you'll regret it. Battery life stinks. Carts are a mess.
3. Just buy an Ego-T tank system.
