Hello, first off I just want to say that this seems to be a great site and I'm glad I found it. Ok, I'm trying to decide between an ego or riva. I know that they are pretty much the same but I have heard that the ego has some problems with the button. Other than that I have heard a lot of good things about it. I guess I just need some help deciding. I'm looking for one that gives a pretty good throat hit and produces a good amount of vapor, thanks

hi, ive gone through a bunch of pvs including ego.i finly figured out it is way cheaper to by a battery mod instead of a kit type pv.the ego batteries burn out after about a month and at 25 a pop it starts adding up.find one that takes replaceable batteries. i have a vypr 510 from vaprlife with a ikenvape 510 lr atty works great but have about three batteries handy. at home i have a silver bullet from altsmoke also with a lr atty and is killer! charge batteries on that about every 2 days.also only vape tasty vapor liquids cheapest and the best. u.s. and all custom made. hope this helps.

Hello and welcome to the Forum...
Bought an Ego on Feb 11, stopped using analogs that day and never looked back...For me, I love the Ego from Janty, because of the fast charger and had not had any problems with the man button...Only thing is the auto batts don't seem as good as the manual ones...But, that is just me...Love using the 510 LR attys with my Ego...Great TH and vapor...Take care and hope you Enjoy the adventure of vaping...

Hello,

I have personally owned:

DSE-801 Automatic - retired - low vapor, poor battery life, unreliable
Njoy NPro Automatic - retired - low vapor, poor battery life, unreliable
Blucigs Automatic - retired - low vapor, poor battery life, unreliable
Janty Stick Manual - retired - good vapor, ok battery life, shattered when dropped
Janty eGo Manual - active - fantastic vapor, excellent battery life, reliable
Joye eGo Manual - active - fantastic vapor, excellent battery life, reliable

Personally tried the 510 model - fantastic, not as good as eGo but still very nice.

I recommend getting an eGo for a starter kit. It'll cost ya 60-80 bucks, so if you want to statr on something cheaper, you can get a 510 for $25 at tasty vapor.
