a none boxy box ..complete diy

just practicing to build boxes to hold the dna 20 .laaaater .had the z max and got inspired by breaktrue I wanted a case for the 18650 battery as small as possible with all the goodies in it. used circuit board one sided material for the " skeleton " and carbon fiber clamb shell .the build in charger works great. the z max board sits in a little fiberglass tray and is not glued to mod . so far works great !!!

Looks good, quite the build process there. A lack of good boxes was my motivation too.

asdaq...some existing boxes look great ...I just like to play .
dr majes the cf shell is diy ..made a form from plexyglas
took a lid from a plastic cake box trimmed the edges ofand cut in halv coated one piece w epoxy ..than layed up the fiber ...put second piece over layup and rolled the exes resin out ..put in form ..layed batterys in bottom...now what I should have done is put a ballon in and inflate ..but misplaced them . the resin is stippled on ...brushing will distort the cf...that is basicly it ...still lerning.

I especially like the custom made shell, that's what makes it unique... would like to be able to make one myself.
