A noob looking for TV wisdom!

Hi!
I've been lurking and reading threads here on TV for close to a month, thanks to Ms. Puff and her fun and informative website. I'm new to all of this, but have been prowling ECF and other sources to learn in the month I've been happily vaping. I have a 2 piece, but want to try a 3 piece and the 510 seems to be a good standard starter. Any advice on the eGo style in general would be appreciated, as I would like to try the new starter kit. I'm really looking for some views on PG/VG ratios. I like a nice vapor cloud, but like a strong flavor as well. I noticed most defalt to 10% or all PG, I thought 10% would be a good balance. Any opinions and observations? I'd happily accept any reccomendations from the creator as well, Mr. TV. Thanks!

Seems the most common mixing is 80% PG to 20% VG.

If you like big clouds, go for 35% VG. It wont hurt the flavor a bit because Geoff doesn't "dilute" with the VG. So the overall flavor is the same regardless of %VG. However, if throat hit is more important than the clouds, then go with a lower VG.

If you like strong flavors....i suggest Geoff's blend, Atomic Cinnicide or Peppermint or wintergreen....very strong on all 4 of these flavors. I add sweetener to the peppermint to give it a sweeter taste, sorta like candy cane ( its my main vape)

I tend to like a little more vg in my juices so i usually opt for the most of the vg available for that nic strength.

Thanks for the advice, I think I'll probably go with 80/20. I like some vapor, but don't want to lose too much TH. Just got to settle on flavors to try first. Thanks for the guideance, I'm sure I'll soon be a happy TV customer.

I would grab an ego off geoff's site you can't beat the price for a great piece of equipment! The battery lasts me about 12 hours with standard 510 Atty and 10 or so with low resistance Atty. And I was a 2 pack a day smoker for 27 years now totally analog free thanks to my ego and TV! I usually go with 80/20 mix and ask for the super sweetner on all my orders. My top six all time faves

I will often throw a 48mg 10% VGA mix in there for the days I'm jonesing really bad for an analog! But I really love my ego/tornado!

I pretty much get all my juice from TV now except for 2 flavors he doesn't carry thought Geoff did answer my inquiry and will be getting one of them soon.

First suggestion I have about TV juice is once you get it... patience, patience, patience. It needs to sit at least a week for the flavors to fully mix. When I first got my Banana Nut Bread I seriously thought about putting it in the classifieds as I didn't care for it at all. But after a week I tried it again and wow! It mellowed out and now I like it.

Second suggestion is to consider getting all PG juice and a bottle of PG and VG. Trust me, you'll use them one way or another. TV will send you some mixing bottles to mix your own if you get the 1 oz juice and the matching 4 oz doubler like I do. I do my own mixing of TV flavors and find I like to weaken some flavors up 1/4 with plain PG because they are so strong. I also mix my own VG with the juice between 10% - 30% depending on the juice to get the vapor I want.

Third suggestion is don't be afraid to experiment with different flavors and proportions but do them in small test samples of say 2 - 5 mls. I do this first when I get a new flavor to find my favorite mix and then I'll mix up the bigger batches of 10+ mls.

One last suggestion about TV juice. I ordered several bottles of just doublers to fix some juices I got from another vendor. Now I can vape the other juices I didn't care for. TV saved them for me!

I have no experience with the eGo or 510 as I'm currently stuck on the 901 at 3.7 volts. Sorry.

I use a 510 on a PT (both at 3.7v and 5v) as well as a mod (minivapestack) and a standard battery and I have the 80/20 mix and its wonderful. I get great flavor and vapor - TH varies on the juices but I like a soft TH so its never something I am really bothered about.

After having tried many pvs the 901 on a true 3.7 is my favorite,but Geof has the Ego and it is great! I love my Ego.
My thought would be to simply try a couple of the premium blends at 80 / 20 vg to start with and go from there. If you want more vaper go higher vg, you will get a th from any of Geofs liquids.
He is a mix master for sure!

I definitely plan to go with Geoff's eGo, Sorry, I meant to imply that a little clearer! Great price for a starter set, I just want to play around with a 3 pc to try something different. I have seen too many yummy reviews here to not give him a try, but I have a feeling once I get a taste, I'll be hooked. I know I'll be back, but still makes it hard to choose where to start!

EDIT - Ordered and got the eGo set and some extra parts, Geoff's Blend, BNB, and Almond Horn to start out. I've been in the 11-18 mg range, so I just bought some 1 oz's in 12 to try a few flavors, used the 20 on 2 and 10% on 1 to try a litle variety. Thanks for all the suggestions and guideance, I'm sure I'll be a happy vaper when it arrives!
