Ok, I could post exactly what I got from Boge, but rather than having you decipher it
I thought I'd do the work for you. WARNING - Don't shoot the messenger! I have no affiliation with Boge! I'm just doing the footwork to get these questions answered for you and hopefully clear up some confusion
I've told them that this misinformation is causing confusion and some animosity in the vaping community and they are aware and are trying to remedy it.
I've also told them those folks who got the initial batch with the 550mAh batter in it are rightfully angry that that the second batch has a 700mAh in it. They are completely aware of this and have learned from this mistake. According to them, they will not let something like this happen again.

- According to Boge, the factory mislabeled the batteries as 500mAh as all their testing confirmed they were 550mAh.
- The SECOND batch production (including the one I got) has a 700mAh battery, NOT 650mAh as specified on their website. They've fixed this on their website.
- The V2.1 (which is also coming my way for review) will have a 1400mAh battery, and will obviously cost more.

A quick question regarding the atomizer connection issues.
Will the dual coil smok tech atty work on this? I understand that it has a protection mode below 2.0 ohms, but I actually prefer the 2.0 and 2.5 ohm dual coils, so I really am just curious if the threading/contact will be ok. I like the Boge 2.0 cartos as well, so really, it's not a big deal, but I'd need to order some up for when my 2.1 arrives (I've already pre-ordered it).

That's too hot a vape for me anyways, as even the 1.6's are a bit hotter than my preference (unless I'm having a few cold beers, and that's when the pro-vari comes out), but I wonder why the 1.25 ohm didn't trip the protection circuit.

I do not know! The only time I tripped it on the V2 was when I was measuring the voltage and accidentally shorted it out. Had to put it on the charger to reset it.
Worked with 1.5Ohm as well as my standard Boge 2.0Ohm. Time to break out the MM to double check the duallies I guess.
Or do I really care since it just works?
Yeah, sometimes all the numbers make me a little cranky. I would imagine it would also be VERY overwhelming to a newbie vaper, enough so to scare some back to regular, light, ultralight, or menthol.
