Well done and informative review as always Phil. Have a Buzz question for you. I have been using the Boge LR cartos and recently tried the XXL clear dual cartro on set of Kgo batteries. Have you had any problems on the Buzz with those or similar cartos? For example did you use the Smotech mega cartos that you reviewed the other day on the Buzz? IF so any problems and do you have a idea on how high you could go voltage wise on the Buzz with the LR stuff and the Dual coil. Thanks again for the vid and the info.

My pleasure.

First, you can't use the eGo mega cartos on the Buzz because the batter connector on the cartos is recessed to make room for the cone threads you'd typically find on an eGo. I have a 510 to 510 connector coming, so I should be able to use them soon enough.

I've had no issues using the Boge LRs, Smoktech duals (any resistance) on the Buzz.

But question to you would be... how high a voltage do you want to go on a LR carto anyway? I usually stop around 4.4. Anything higher and you should be getting a burnt taste anyway cause you're cooking your LR coils!

Sorry should have thought that through. Once I read your answers I remembered from the video what you said about how they fit sorry. AS far as the question about the how high I wanted to go with the voltage on the LRs and dual coil...well frankly I have no idea at all! LOL Was more worried about doing some kind of damage to the batteries or the buzz itself to be honest. Figured it would burn the carto out if you went to high or at least make the juice taste bad, but did not want to do any damage to the PV or waste to many cartos. Spent a lot of time last night trying to decide if I wanted to try a VV PV or stick with what I was using. Enjoy the LR Boge and the dual coil performance wise and not sure I would upgrade my PV if I had to use those at more or less the same voltage I am using now. If that makes sense. Thanks again

Ha! NP!

Well, I've used a BUNCH of LR cartos on the Buzz and very rarely go over the yellow setting. I haven't had any issues at all.

Hope that helps!

I totally agree with the powerizer choice, I was shocked by the longevity of them, great batteries but in case people do not know, they are unprotected, this is obviously not a problem for use in a buzz pro because the device is well protected but in other mods I would not stack them unless the mod has protection.
