Heya Phil, - The only other pear juice I've had, I couldn't even taste pear at all. It was more of a sweet something or another, I dunno fruity mix or something. does this resemble, in your opinion of course, more of a candy flavor or more like the real deal?

@Levitas - This is a tough call. I would say more of a natural pear. Tough call because it's wrapped into the sweet almond marzipan. It doesn't SCREAM pear, it's subtle, but very enjoyable. Hope that helps.
