Nice review (that's obligatory).

Seems to me that Boge ripped a few people, shame they did not make good

In closing, please ASK for permission before using any graphics I create for my reviews.

My apologies. I remembered getting a few of those photos and I honestly didn't remember which one I used. I completely understand if you're sore over that. I'd be too. Can I annotate the video and use your name?

Please do give Michael (cozzicon) his due. He is a valued member of our community and has earned it. [I also need to be more rigorous in providing attribution for the myriad photos and illustrations used in my stuff.]

Otherwise, yet another outstanding review! I very much like your way of referring to the latest and greatest version: the Revolution 1400. That seems to be its (only) distinguishing feature ... and it is a significant one. And I liked your comments about the functionality of the eGo-type cone. [I doubt whether Boge – or other makers of box mods – will rush to adopt that feature, but it would be nice if they did.]

@rolandpibb - now you got me curious.

@Cronus6 - So far so good. No issues at all. Even with the little doors. As a matter of fact, it spent the day in the tool belt today. Biggest problem was with the dual-coil clear, it kept separating as shown in the video, but no issues with the R.

@Mufftrix - Thank you!

@warlike36 - No... Thank YOU!

@borockster - Listen, he's very grateful I gave him the chance to live. As a matter of fact, I think I saw him down by the water. He honked at me then pooped.

@DonDaBoomVape - Thanks! I have no problem giving cozzicon his due and I did apologize. It won't happen again. As I explained to him, I had a few photos of the 500mAh, but I wound up using his. I didn't even recall who's I was using. If he'd like for me to remove it from the review... fine. If he'd like me to put a link to his review in mine... fine. If he'd like for me to put photo taken by cozzicon with a link to wherever he'd like me to link to fine. I'm a big boy, admit when I'm wrong, and try to make right. No need/room for animosity in my life.

Yeah, I think Revolution V2 1400 is the right way to go. I think the biggest issue is that they had 3 different battery configurations all market as the V2. As I said in the review, they've got egg on their face over this.

@borockster - Good for you! I think you'll really like it before you mod it. How are you at modding? Cause I take no responsibility if you ...... it up :)

Honestly, as a good friend and fierce supporter of Cozzicon, I would like to see the video completely re-shot. I think it is incredibly arrogant and bush-league to have used his photos and have not given him at least verbal credit in the video. Even if the video was annotated, it's still a slap in the face to the man who deserves credit for having given said photos.

Now that we have that out of the way...it was a good review. I would have liked to have seen actual video displays of the running stats on the device, but hey, I'm a sucker for visual evidence. That's how I approach every video and every live episode of my show.

Regardless of who provided the photos... I was happy to see them. Now i know that if I buy one of these, my RC buddies will be hooking me up with newer tech flat pack batts and I'll have choices like going to a couple of 1000 mah packs or to maybe change the circuit and regulating it so I can run at 5.0v.

Instead of being sorry about anything, these two excellent reviewers should join forces on a review sometime. Get them both doing a serious tear down type review with feature explanations and some comic relief on the VapeTV

Or, better yet: Forget what I just said. Let's build an octagon cage and have a vape throwing match live on Vape TV. We could hype up some sort of rivalry and then put them in the ring with all their PVs to use as weapons and projectiles. -- Coz might have a slight advantage now that he owns a triple v., but pbusardo looks meaner and might have a trick up his sleeve.

VapeTV could start having pay per view events. Death Vape 2011 - Two men enter, one man vapes!

I'd be willing to do promotion for one or the other, but I get 5% of the gate and 7% of the PPV.

Edit: it crossed my mind that my paragraph about making an octagon might not be understood as the wise crack I meant it to be. I should just be clear and say what the wise crackin is supposed to convey.

Even though reviews are unique and content is created by those who are on camera... Who do reviewers do their reviews for? Why do they do them? I've always thought you guys all did this for me and all the others just like me trying to keep up with vaping related things like hardware, juice, safety, etc etc etc. I thought these reviews were done for the benefit of whatever you consider to be "community" of vapers.

That was a good review/follow-up review. I learned something from it. Isn't that what really counts? All you reviewers should consider it a bit of an homage when someone else thinks some of your content (spoken, visible, tangible... whatever) was good enough to show to his or her audience.

It seems like reviewers should have a bigger "Three Musketeers All For one One For All" attitude than anyone else. I can't see how it could be an "Us Against Them" or "Me Against Him" sort of thing for anyone participating in the education of this community. If it isn't completely counter productive, then it is at least far less efficient if your motives don't put your viewers and readers first.

No further action is needed Phil. But I'd like to explain my feelings on this.

I don't get anything for doing my reviews (I don't accept free stuff). Doing reviews actually costs me a ton of money and it's a labor of love. And to date, it hasn't gotten me any chicks.

The two things I do get from doing reviews:

1. E-mail from people telling me they got off cigarettes or who have been helped by my stuff. (most important)

2. Credit for and constructive criticism of the work. (Important because yes, I want to feel that I have contributed, and like to do better work than previously)

Within the bounds of that context, I hope you can understand my position.

Be well.

The above is reasonable and mature. And comes from a guy who does vids for the community not because he has to...Not because he is looking for free stuff or fame in our little part of the world...Nope he does it Just to help folks. As does Phil Busardo. Both of you gentlemen do roughly the same thing for the same reasons. Animosity between the 2 of you would not only be "high school silly" but also counterproductive to the cause we all claim to support. I am glad this issue seems settled...The last thing "I" need is 2 of my favorite reviewers in a pissing contest...Yep it's all about me....LOL!!

Hang on Basil....Let me back up a few paces before you throw that entirely unreasonable and extremist jug of gasoline on the fire....

Hey folks....if anyone sees Grimm or Slip could you let them know that my top 5 reviewers are all meeting over at ECF for a vape and they are late? Thanks....

The video is being changed as I type. No, it is not being re-shot. I used a single photo of a battery that was not mine, it was brought to my attention, I realized I was wrong, and apologized for it here, and now publicly in the review itself, which is being uploaded.

The new title will be: The Boge Revolution V2 Vs. V2.1 Video Version V1.1. The old one will be removed. I'll repost it in this thread.

All the other photos are mine.

As I have mentioned here and in other places, I'm an entertainer at heart. I do these videos to entertain people, provide decent information, express my point of view, and to make people laugh or at least smile in the process. Most importantly because I've been a vaper now for nearly 2 years. My last real cigarette was on July 7th 2009 (yes, my official 2-year anniversary is coming up). If I can help other achieve that, that would be fantastic. My reviews take a long time to do. The best payment I can get is someone to write, "Hey Phil I really enjoyed your review."

With all due respect to everyone here. This is the last I'll be speaking to this topic. I have officially "learned from my mistake."

Have a great 4th everyone!
