Here's what I don't understand. I'm looking to get another new mod. I'm looking into the Revenger. The smoke shop guy made a statement that I need to know if it's true. Some are 510 pin and some are 810 pin is this true
Thanks in advance
That guy is obviously an idiot. It has a 510, like 99% of all other mods.

The drip tip on a tank/atomizer will be sized with 510 or 810. The 510 is a smaller drip tip and 810 bigger. That makes no difference to the mod.

Maybe you misunderstood the salesman. Nearly 99% of all mods use a standard 510 connector.

Drip tips for the tank or juice attachment may be either 510 or 810 (wider bore). Most tanks come with an adaptor to be able to use either size.

There has never been a "810 pin" that I'm aware of.
There used to be an 808 connection, but 510 connection has been the industry standard for YEARS.
If the guy is talking about the size of the drip tip on the tank that is included in the Revenger kit, Zaryk is correct. It has nothing to do with the mod.

He was probably talking about Drip Tips when he said that 510/810 thing.

Yes, "810" is a drip-tip ("mouthpiece") size with a wider bore. There's also "goon-style" which is 810-sized, but without an o-ring (there's still an o-ring, but it's in the cap instead of on the mouthpiece.) Most tanks and atomizers that need an 810 or goon-style drip tip, come with one already.

I just think the word "Pin" was either Said wrong or Heard wrong.

Something don't sound right about this whole mess
As I said before, either you misunderstood what the saleman was explaining, or the salesman doesn't know his :censored:.

Now that you know what YOU are talking about, maybe return to the store and start another discussion. Let us know how that goes. ;)

I'd be surprised if it were not a knowledge gap, but the good news is, now you know. I think you could safely return to the vape shop and to my awareness, usually if there is more than one "standard" drip tip made for a tank it's included in the starter kit at least has been my experience, although I most certainly stand ready to be corrected on that. Etc.

Good luck,

Anna

I thought the old EGO connection was 810.... could a been 808 though. Been awhile since I used a pen.

I always referred to eGo as eGo.

That was a pretty neat standard, as you could (usually) use either a 510 threaded tank/atty or an eGo threaded tank like the Evod.

I Don't think I ever heard of it referred to it as anything but "eGo Threads".

"808" was Shorthand Slang for KR808D-1. But that was a Male Connector on the Mod.

BTW - Notice how the KR808D-1 had about 1 Full Thread on it. It was a Horrible design. And Easily Stripped.

It's could be confusing that both the atomizer-battery thread and a drip tip standard are both called 510. They were from the same device, a cigalike, which explains the diameter. Thus larger atomizers must use stainless steel or the like for the connector or it tends to break.

I always thought 808 was just 510 thread with parts reversed, or at least close. eGo, although it also swaps the threads so the battery screws into the atomizer, is much larger.
