Hey all. I finally got the thumbs up from my fiance to go ahead and purchase a VK after spending tons of dough on a POS SE RN4081 at the mall. We have been keeping a super tight eye on our expenses since the wedding is only about a month away now. I am super stoked to get my VK, but just wanted to here if there are any suggestions on necessary purchases besides a kit?

I am going for the Ultimate Ultimatum kit, probably a few boxes of carts and a couple bottles of juice. If all goes well and my fiance likes mine, then I will be getting her a kit too. Even though she has her eyes on my brother's Blu-Cig right now. With all the positive things I've been hearing about these PVs, I'm sure I will at least be a Vapor4Life:D

USB passthrough *check!* (included in kit)
PCC *check!* included in kit

Extra batteries (comes with two, and two is good..3 is better, i gotta get another myself)

Cartomizers *Check!* comes with a box of 5, you said you're gettin some extras..good idea

Liquid *Check!* same flavors as cartomizers for refilling...good idea

Carry case *Check!* comes with kit

hmmm..I think you have it covered except you'll wanna have your sights on a spare battery or two ...when you forget to put yesterdays battery on the charger..you'll thank me LOL!

Basically think youve covered the bases very well. Should be ready to vape when it gets there!

consider trying a pack of greencig carts. I like them better than the standard VK carts and I think they are excellent for refilling. Box of 10 will last forever.

Thanks for this suggestion. I'll have to give it a try.

Another question. I noticed that the juice now has low, med and high rather than 8mg, 11mg, etc. Does anyone know what the strengths are? I'm trying to keep right around 11mg or so.

Extra batteries! Awesome suggestion thank you. I always see that folks are filling the same liquid as the carts. Is it a bad idea to mix the flavors inside the carts? Or is it more for keeping track of which liquid is in which carts?

You can certainly mix juices. I often add pineapple to pear, or peach to pineapple, or chocolate to coffee. I would recommend using compatible flavors, but I love adding juices to create unique flavors. Alternatively you could try washing the cartomizers out so you can add whatever flavor you want, but I tried this and found it to be more of a pain than I feel like doing. So now I either refill with the same flavor or with one that goes nicely with the previous flavor.

Thanks for this suggestion. I'll have to give it a try.

Steve posted this in another thread:
High= 36
med =16
low=6
non=0

You are going to love your Vapor King. Your gal will too - especially since the batteries and cases come in so many gal friendly designs if she is into that sort of thing. Steve has some very cool ones coming...good stuff.

If your gal likes fruity flavors as much as I do, get her a couple of pineapple carts with your order. Since you are ordering extra batteries you can actually easily set her up with a VK of her own. Once she falls in love, and she will, then you can order her one in her fave color of choice!

Very useful info! Thanks Phoenix. I'm off to Vapor4Life.com!

One more thing. I understand youn are concerned about the cost/expense, but you should look at it like an investment. I'm saving nearly $300 a month over buying analogs and I always bought 3 cartons at a time, never single packs. That's still $5.30 a pack around here and the VK is no where near that the way I'm using it.

There is no problem refilling a cart with a different flavor. The flavor that was in it before will dissipate quickly and the new flavor will kick in. This is assuming you have used most of the liquid in the cart before you refill it.

Congrats on joining our happy family:D I Know you will be happy with your purchase. I received mine on Thursday of last week and have not smoked an analog since.

The cost is not that much of a concern and I definitely see the potential savings in the long run. The only thing is that my fiance is on my case about the expense right now because I rushed out and bought two full Smoking Everywhere kits for around 300 bones. It is proving difficult to convince her to let me spend another 200 bones on 2 more full kits, but the more she uses the POS SE PV the more and more she is beginning to listen to me that we already need new ones. Once again, Steve's incredible product and record of tremendous service is helping out yet another vaper, and I haven't even purchased anything yet:thumb: All the positive posts here about V4L is what got my girl to change her mind:)

Yes, congrats to you and your fiance! And just think, neither of you will walk around on your big day smelling of cig smoke! :D

Thanks JenJen, and Wormwood too! We are both pretty stoked that we have been able to quit just before our wedding. I just hope these POS Smoking Everywhere PVs hold out until we get the VK. We were both talking about it today and if our PVs crapped out on us we would both probably head straight to the store to buy a pack of.... whimper.... smokes:cry:

If you can get her vapin, she'll have the rest of her life to nag you about the cost. That life almost certainly extended by dumping analogs.

OK, now I am more anxious to get my VK than ever. Tonight I picked up my beloved RN4081, yeah right, anyway went to take a puff and...... heat but no vapor. Put on a new cart and... heat but no vapor. I just had the atti replaced 2 days ago!

I looked at the clock and I still had an hour to get down to the mall to complain and have the atti switched out so I got in my car and drove the 1/2 hour down there, got the atti replaced and all is good now. The guy even gave me his "special" atti off his own personal PV, LOL. He also gave me an extra "just in case". I personally think that he is sick of seeing me.

This atti is producing more vapor than any of the 6 other attis I've gone through in 2 weeks, but who knows how long it will last. It is getting very dangerous for me because on the way down to the mall I was looking for some gum in my glovebox and came across a half pack of analogs! YIKES!!!! I was good though and didn't bust one out, though I was sooo tempted. Man I hope my VK gets here soon!
