Got one for you guys, you're going to love this.

510 Mega atomizer, just a standard 510 with more metal on it, no biggy. It has the compulsion to only create vapor when the juice is directly on the atomizer, let me put it this way, it isn't soaking up any juice via the wick. The juice either goes past the atomizer and down to the battery connector, or it gets lucky and just happens to find itself somewhere that it can burn and creates vapor.

So either you get vapor one hit, you take another hit and you get literally nothing.
If you tip the ecigarette down and let the juice flow back onto it, you basically have a 50% chance of getting vapor.

I'm thinking whatever wicks the juice is either burned out or it just won't soak anymore. Do you think this atomizer would be better used de-bridged?

I found out the problem, juice just pretty much goes strait through it. I debridged it so I could get a better look at the coil and while it burns excellently, I can't get juice to stay on it and it provides a very harsh, hateful burn. I think I'm going to rid myself of this one, I recently bought a replacement to add to my 5-attomizer rotation. It surely wont' be missed.

The coil must be displaced from the center-hole... This together with other circumstances, possibly. But my bet is that it is this, mostly. So, you should try re-centering the heating element carefully...

Of course a good cleaning to the atty first may rule out it is simple saturation or similar preventing the wicking from holding liquid. I guess the other options are a very runny liquid; or a too tightened and 'suffed' wicking fibers construct; meaning badly placed wicking fibers down the coil. Then, it could be that the fibers going through the coil are simply not enough. These circumstances could be due to a bad unit. Again, the best way to deal with them is gently moving the bridge to a side and checking, possibly re-centering the coil from there, and placing the bridge back to its original position.

Hope this helps!

I just took both of my crap atomizers and tossed them in boiling water, let them go at it against the bubbles for about 15 minutes, took them out and gave them a dry burn.

One's paint peeled off and is now stainless... however I forgot which one was which.
So I have no idea whether or not the one I'm using was the one that wasn't accepting juice or whether its the other one that I have yet to test.

In about another hour I'll clean this one with alcohol and test the other one, if it works then I'll clean it and put it back in my "works" jar and switch back to my Boge atomizer I was using prior to all of this.

So, SCIENCE!
