Hi all. I hate it but I'm addicted to the biggest, brashest flavors out there. The hardcore mints, hot cinnamon, ripe banana, sour candy, etc. It seems like everything I love are the flavors that melt or crack poly tanks. So I bought a Kanger Pro 2 plexi tank for the sole purpose of vaping the hardcore stuff (like my favorite blend of Seduce juice's White Walker and Tasty Vapor's Atomic Cinnacide - can't beat the mixed-mint/cinnamon explosion). I purposefully conducted an experiment and used the Atomic Cinnacide in a normal poly clearomizer and sure enough, it literally melted the lower part of the mouthpiece within days, turning into a soup of plastic and e-liquid. Not something I'd ever want to accidentally inhale.

So far, so good with the Kanger. Actually, so far, so amazing. This is my first Kanger, my first glass, and it hits just amazingly. I'm sold on glass tanks for life now.

But I have one concern. There's one tiny little plastic part in the Kanger. As I recall it's like a little 'O' ring that goes around the atomizer. That's about the extent of my expertise.

I don't want ANY melted plastic in my vape. Should I be concerned about this little piece of plastic (which seems to serve the purpose of seating the atomizer)?

Ok, thanks. And after looking into Kanger rubber O rings, it looks like they're available in bulk (like 100 for 10 bucks through Kanger). This isn't bad. I'd be happy to keep replacing them, I guess, in order to keep vaping the flavors I like. My real concern is whether in damaging the (rubber I guess, not plastic), any of that can get into the e-liquid itself. I'm no chemist or medical professional, but if melted rubber isn't a carcinogen, I don't know what is. Wonder if anyone has had experience vaping liquids known to eat through plastic in a Kanger and had any trouble.
