Since I can't post anywhere else yet, I'll throw this in here.

I know that if I order from Blu I probably won't see them for over a month from the day I order, so I was considering buying the generic model from Cigtechs or somewhere else. The one thing holding me back is the lackluster (understatement) reviews of the cartridges. Are there compatible carts with this model that offer better performance? I'm not keen on the idea of getting aluminum flakes all over my atomizer, but the main detractor is the cartridge not delivering sufficient liquid to the atomizer and not vaping an acceptable amount of liquid.

And on that note, do you think it's worth it to bother with them at all? I currently have a 510 and I'm loving the hell out of it, but the PCC is a little bulky and doesn't hold a lot of goodies in it. I'd like something smaller with comparable performance, and hoped the modified J-108 could meet that need.

I bought some cheapie 401's a while back. They worked just fine, except for those @#$% foil sealed carts. I had so many of them and didn't want to waste the juice, so I pushed out the inner sleeve and removed the foil. They worked pretty good after that. They were just a pain in the ..... I now buy the carts for the EVO when I need them. They don't have the foil.

I am starting to believe this is the main issue with electronic cigarettes.

And my guess is that the problem increases with models that produce more vapor.
After all, the more vapor you produce, the more juice you are using, and the quicker you are using it.

And the wicking process needs to replace that lost liquid and provide it ASAP to the atomizer.
So unless I am mistaken, wicking technology should be the main focus at this point in time.

Well, I do have to occasionally top off my 510 carts, but it's not really a hassle. In comparison, the Blu carts are a pain in the ... all around from what I've read, thus the question of weather or not there are better carts made for a different ecig that are compatable. I can get a battery, atty and a charger for super cheap, and I have plenty of eliquid floating about to fill my own carts up, but the question remains: Which cart will fit?

Just got the email that Blu is not accepting order between July 7th and 21st. This is in order to clear out their back orders so they can get back on schedule for a better response time than 2 weeks. Frustrating news, but understandable. I do hear good things about their device from the one person I know who has one. Its apparently superior to others of similar make.

I ordered some bluCig batteries and things seperately because I didn't want to wait over a month to get it because of the blu Pack. It took 2weeks. Then about a week later I found volcanecigs.com and they have the same models as bluCig just better versions of them. Their flavor cartridges are better too. I purchased their deluxe kit on monday morning and got the kit by thursday afternoon that same week. Its good for people that want to smoke e-cigs but don't want to go extreme with it like some professional e-cig smokers. Volcano ecigs cartridges and atomizers work better on bluCig's batteries than bluCigs own atomizers and cartridges. I have no problems with the vapors I get from them. Its enough for me and the V-pack is a life saver! Lord knows I hate to plug in my battery somewhere on the go.

Blu is a total waste of money. The batteries last a-lot less then an hour carts ar expensive for what you get the PCC is a joke. Blu was my first and when I got it I was like OK... where is the vapor. I got an 801 the same day BLU cane in and and 510 ego the next week. I havent had a cigrette in 8 months no thanks to the BLU macked out model that still sets in a box
