I have tried using the quote option on some of my post, and having some difficulty, none of my posts to seem to have the little grey quote box that i see on all other posts, only the text. is the a secret or am i just retarted?

squirrely, if you hit the quote tab, in the bottom right of the post you want to quote, it will open a reply to thread with the quote inside. just leave that as is and reply under that text. if you are wondering what you post will look like, hit the "preview post" next to submit reply. that should solve that problem!

and to get that banner, find the banner you like (there are a few i have seen) and click on it. it should open a web page where you can put all you info and it will make you a banner. copy the bbc and insert it into your signature. to edit your signature go to the "quick links" tab in the menu bar and scroll down to edit signature! make sure to save.:D any questions let me know.

If you put any text at all in between the following it will appear in a little quote box...

[QU0TE]put text here[/QU0TE]

Note: I used zeros instead of Os in the above example so you could see it

When you press the Quote button on a post you want to reply to, it will put the entire post between tags like those shown above. You can break it up into smaller quotes simply by manipulating where you have the start quote and end quote thingies.
