I doubt there are any longer than the standard ( reg )length and the XL (43mm)length. Those are the only 2 sizes that cartomizers or sm disposable atomizers come in.

Are you planning on 2 lengths ? I myself do not like the cartomizer to stick out longer than top of tank, I like my drip tips to sit flush on top of tank.

I have The ------ RA and thats the only (well , it has another aspect that could use improvement) thing I dont like about it. But I hoping that Achilles will not have those flaws:)

Thanks for the reassurance, But I already knew that you would take care of any foreseen problems. Your mind is like those 3D computers, I think that when you look at an object, you see beyond the surface and see all possibilities. You take it in your hands and take into account all that one needs from it and might need and you use it again and again till there is no other possible way it can be improved, and when you think you have it perfect you pick it apart and find those flaws and perfect it again.

Boge does make shorties and Joyce has some short atomizers also, they are 26mm entire length.

And if the longest tank is at 43 mm then what is the shortest tank?

And why the longest tank is 43mm when the longest cartos are 45mm?

The tanks that takes the 35mm cartos are shorter and how much shorter?

Are there tanks that take other style of atomizers - cartomizers etc?

I just checked my tanks and the ones that fit the length of a reg standard cartomizer is 35mm. This sits flush with the top of the cartomizer and the end of it and then the 510 connector of course extends.

I dont have XL tanks but I checked on line and went to check all the good XL tanks and they are 45mm, again these fit perfectly from the top edge to the lip on the bottom of cartomizer with only the 510 connection extending. There are different types are cartomizers and drip atomizers but they are all a universal length and diameter.

There are few carto tanks that are a bit shorter but it leaves you with an unattractive over hang of the top of the cartomizer.

I hope some others ring in with some data for you, but I think I have the numbers correct.

I think it is funny how I was the queen of tanks and cartos 9 months ago and since "stumbling" on iatty in a trade, I haven't looked back at a carto and tank... I have to say though, gathering iatty's was addicting and just couldn't stop getting them...was so afraid that imeo said he would never make them again...they were potato chips...just couldn't stop at one!!!
now with ithaka coming (omg...there isn't a day I say to yankee...and when is ithaka coming?) I am dying to see how phenomenal ithaka will be!!! still can't look back at tanks even with the thought of achilles...

you dont look at tanks anymore because you never had a GG tank my dear. And you never had a GG rebuildable as thin as the China atomizers are.

Also, Ithaka is the best atomizer in the world, you will see this by yourself. In the meantime, check the new videos I made about Ithaka. I will post them on "Ithala official" thread:)
