Hi everybody!

I've been lurking for a few months, and decided to come out of the shadows. Also, I'm probably going to have some questions soon, and wanted to be able to ask them. A bit about me...

I just celebrated 6 months smoke free, thanks to my PV. (Hey, that rhymes!) It isn't the first one I bought, and it isn't the last (I haven't yet received the most recent) but it was enough to get me to make the switch, and without much difficulty at all. I had tried a few years ago with an overpriced cig-a-like kit, and it worked for a few weeks, then I was back on cigs.

This time around I went with an eGo style setup*, and it made all the difference. I was lucky to find a juice I liked right away for an ADV that satisfied the cravings, and I didn't look back. A couple months ago I started getting into non-tobacco juices, and found a few that I like. Then I started reading through the e-juice section here on ECF. This is where things started to go awry…

Last week, I received vapemail from WizardLabs and MFS. Yep, DIY supplies.
Last night, I pulled the trigger on an SVD, A7 and wick & wire. (I was just going to get w&w to try rebuilding PT/EVOD coils, but it was late, and I had been vaping...)

I think I might have a problem.

*(for the curious, it's nothing exciting - I've got a few flavors loaded up into various Kanger tanks and the occasional 510 atty for tasting. My ADV has been since day 1: FreedomSmokeUSA American Spirit, currently at 12mg, down from 18mg.)

Congratulations on your 6 months of no smoking, along with your drop in nicotine intake! Vaping definitely switches from being a necessity to being an expensive hobby very quickly, but if that means you aren't dumping tar down your lungs then it's well worth it. As long as you're enjoying yourself and you're staying away from those cancer sticks, then sit back and relax with your hobby. Make sure you leave enough money for the bills though! I know I've gotten close a couple times...

Congratulations OP! I'm at 3 weeks. I'm still smoking a few a day, but I'm down from 2 packs a day. I'm already getting the itch to start rebuilding the Kanger heads for my PT 2. My excitement is contagious! I'm giving a buddy one of my iTaste vv 3.0es (sp?) as I have a VTR in the mail. Whatever it takes to get off the analogs is good in my book.

Sent from a van down by the river.
