Hi,

You guessed right.. I'm new here. :)

Long story short, I quit "analogues" the second I tried vaping - this was a month ago. To me, it's all about the juice.

Despite trying 30 or so different juice flavours across a few brands, only T-Juice's TY-4 has made it to the ADV list. Nothing else has come remotely close. :(

From my initial research here and in other forums, it seems that TY-4 is a Love-or-Hate juice. Sadly, few seem to rate it as highly as I do.

The bottom line is that I can't quit smoking vape without it. I have already spend quite a bit of money in juices I will never vape and this is not good. I don't dig vanella and caramel flavours like those in Jack the Ripple.

I have recently bought the TY-4 concentrate and will do subtle DIY mixes of it to keep the flavour fresh and variant.

I would love to find fellow TY-4 lovers.

Could any of you recommend or point me into the right direction towards juices like TY-4? There is this particular taste to it that I haven't seen in any other tobacco based juices.

Thanks

I'm new here like you, so take it for what it's worth, but I'm in a similar boat - bought a bunch of different juices that I didn't immediately bond with. From what I've read, some juices benefit from some time to seep. You may want to put some of those bottles in a cool, dark place and revisit in a few weeks. I'm told they do improve.

My goto seems to be Halo Tribeca, however, I also like Ahlusion Kent's Blend a lot.

Hope that helps.

Eh, I DIY myself, and I know which flavor profiles I enjoy, but taste is a funny thing. There are some juices I always like to vape, but others I come and go with; sometimes I just can't taste them at all. Usually letting them alone for a few days solves that problem. Having a couple of drippers handy is a good idea if you get into rolling your own.

Welcome to ECF, and congratulations on making the switch to vaping!

I can definitely relate to your frustration with e-liquid flavors. I've never bought any of the expensive e-liquids. So, I can't speak for those. But, I quickly became frustrated when I first began vaping and just started DIYing my own. It's a lot easier to get reliable results that way.

Steeping does help to a certain extent, especially for tobacco flavors. Also, your tastes are going to change over time. What you love now, you will eventually not like anymore. And, flavors you don't like now, you may well love later.

Another thing, it does help to change up flavors frequently. For example, I keep some flavors (like Peppermint and Clove) that I only like for a few minutes at a time, flavors I could never use all day. That helps me not get tired of my favorites (coffee flavors like Tiramisu).

RY-4 is one of the more popular types of flavor. However, each company's RY-4 tastes a little different. You might want to take a look in http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/general-e-liquid-reviews/193327-really-big-ry4-roundup-long.html.

I see you are in the uk. Have you tried joose juice? They have two tobacco blends, black gold (honey blend, I think) and caramel blend. I have found them to be great. Very reasonable price, about £7.50 for 30 Mls and currently have a BOGOF so you get two bottles for that price.

Hi I make my own juice. If your very particular about your juices you might consider making your own as well. It certainly saves a lot of money and you can make it to your liking. It sounds intimidating at first but trust me it's much easier to get started than you think. It's fun and if your having a particular craving for a certain juice you can just whip one up with that flavor. Blending flavors takes some expirmenting but it's a great experience. I'm so glad I started making my own! It's been a wonderful experience. Take a look at the diy forum if your interested. I love making my own. It's been a lot of fun. Also you can share recipies and try others recipies. Start up cost isn't bad either. The most expensive thing is the nicotine the rest of the products are very inexpensive. I think I spent for nicotine, flavors, pg, vg, bottles, measuring syringes about A hundred dollars . And that's getting the biggest bottles of nicotine, and pg and vg. I also got many flavorings, and about 100 empty bottles. So really it's not bad price wise. And what I bought will make hundreds of bottles of juice. It will save a lot of money in the long run. If you get the small bottles you can start for much less. It might be something for you to think about. This way you can make exactly what you like. Hope this helps. Best wishes

Just received my TY 4 from t juice, but have yet to try it.

Have you looked at the UK section here, there's a few reviews there. Also AAEC, I think it's called, UK based forum.

well that TY-4 arrived quickly ;)

So, I've searched this forum, planet of vapes and uk vapers but overall nobody seems to care too much about TY-4. Most people rave about other T-Juice's pre-mixes such as Red Aspire... There is a TY-4 review in youtube but the chap didn't like it or described it as I taste it.

I suppose all I'm really after is some flavourings guidance on the TY-4. Someone who can identify some of it's profile components. This way I can head to Flavour Art get some flavourings (that could work) and keep experimenting with my own versions.

T-Juice's own description of TY-4 is:

T-juice’s take on the vape classic RY4, with a bit more nuttiness and a sprinkling of Demerara sugar just to give it a little extra magic. By tweaking this legendary gold dust we have created the perfect potion, something you can’t help falling in love with and will want to vape again and again and again. So buckle your seat belts, load up the cart (or tank ) and dive headfirst into vape heaven!

Any particular nut flavourings to try? Demenara sugars? Sweeteners? Any recommendations?

cheers

P.S - Hope you like TY-4 Plum, interested to see how you describe the flavour.
