A really dumb question

I have been vaping for a month now. I have a iTaste vv and a egoC Twist. I use Kanger EVOD BCC clearomizers. So far, so good.

I have purchased eJuice from a variety of sources in varying levels of nicotine. And there is my problem.

I have 6 clearomizers, I have 12 containers of juice and I can't keep my juices organized.

I filled up the clearomizers with juice. At first, I was good, i made tiny little labels and stuck them to the clearomizers. But they started to fall off when juice would leak out. Then i got lazy, i stopped labeling.

I have a bunch of clearomizers in varying colors and I have no idea what is inside of them. When they empty, I make a guess as to what I had in there before and I fill it with some juice -- often resulting in mixing juices.

So, what I am wondering is what kind of system do you all use to manage this? Do you have a schedule for washing tanks, do you label? Should I try using some other kind of clearomizer that holds more liquid?

On going problem for me as well. I finally purchased an inexpensive label machine-problem is-haven't kept up with that well either. My newer solution (Which I need to implement still) is different color mouth tips. The other issue I run into is-I use iClears (which are lasting a long time for me) but eventually the plastic where it attaches to the base starts to leak-so then I have the dilemma -how long ago did I replace the coil? Is it fresh? Should I keep the coil when I toss the plastic sleeve?
LOL First world problems!!!!

If I've learned one thing being on this forum, it's that there are no dumb questions :)

I read a tip recently in a post that seemed like a good idea - the EVOD clearos come in different colors...maybe if all six you have are different colors, you could label the juice bottle with a colored label of what tank you put it in, instead of labeling the clearo?

I guess if all your tanks are the same or you have multiple of the same color, I guess that wouldn't really help, but just thought I'd throw it out there :)

Good luck and welcome to vaping!!

Perhaps if you could find some different colored small rubber bands? Put a rubber band on a juice bottle, and another of the same color on the clearo/carto/topper?

I keep meaning to get those rubber bands. :vapor:
I have times when I've no clue what I'm vaping but if the flavors taste great mixed up- it's a win/win.

If you have a computer, a printer, and some clear tape you can type the name of the flavor, print it out and cut to size, and tape it to the clearomizer. At one time I did this with my cartotanks. Likewise a label maker can work, too. My local B & M uses a label maker to identify the flavors on their Kanger T3 clearos at their e-juice bar. Use abbreviations to shorten the label.

I have tried color coding but I have more flavors than colors  so now I know stainless evods have 1 of 3 flavors, red evods 1 of 3 etc....so my go to is smell them (I do try to fill the same colors with very different flavors like stainless - strawberry, bobas and jamocha) so...well..sadly that's the best I got and its a sucky method. LOL

Like Baditude said, I use scotch tape over printed paper for labelling.

For small devices like a clearo -

1) Type up a list of all your flavors in a small but readable font, double spaced. Abbreviate to keep it short but understandable.
2) Cut the list into skinny short strips, narrow enough to fit under the tape with some clearance
3) Center each label on a piece of tape with tape showing around all sides. Cut the tape with scissors to get a clean edge.
4) Apply, maybe lengthwise, and seal around the edges.

I find scotched taped labels to hold up to multiple cleanings well. Glad you're enjoying a bunch of flavors!

That leaking thing seems to be the problem. Occasionally I will end up with a leaker because of operator error, but I label my containers with that blue painters tape (cut thin) and permanent marker. They generally maintain adherence a long time.

I would recommend getting/making a stand for your tanks and labeling the stand, the rubber band method, marking your tanks (sharpy, nicks in the tip/tank [ if in the tank just a surface nick]), smell, or just keep the tanks that you are not vaping next to the juice that is in it. Just a few of the simple methods.

Hope this helps!!!

Baditude, that picture Rocks! It's a good thing I'm only an avid fisherman because all those hooks and things dumped in a box to make room for all my supplies doesn't really bother me:). You come up with some of the greatest ideas, could we maybe be friends?

I haven't mixed up my clearos yet but I do mix up my cartomizers. Just this morning I put a few drops of Legend in a Tribeca carto. Not too bad actually.

My solution to this is to not buy and vape too many flavors at once. I'll feel indulgent if I do that. So I don't buy too much liquid and I finish vaping the ones I'm not crazy about before I move on to a new flavor. It takes discipline to do this because there's so many flavors out there to try, but I'm trying to avoid an overindulgent vaping mess.

Thanks all, first for not making me feel stupid, and 2nd for the ideas. My kid has a craft with tons of little rainbow colored rubber bands. I am going to try that out!

Rainbow loom? If so how do you keep all those little bands off the floor. I find them everywhere.

Actually you just gave me an idea. :) Those will work nicely on my X6.
