I have been a vaper for a little over eight months, like most others that started in that time frame my first purchase was a eGo and a kanger tank. Then the fun began, i read and watched everything i could on these new devices that could help me kick the three pack a day habit. I bought a Tesla VV/VW, SVD then a mvp2, along with many more tanks. Then started learning about battery safety mechanical tube mods and dripers. That's when things went stupid, bought a few Nemesis's Stingrays etc etc oh and can't forget all the rda's! All the while i found my ADV and a few more GREAT flavors for my rotation all from one vendor that claims a device as there recommended device for such great liquid. So me being me i bought one, a LP grand and a RM2. A few months go by and i score a 18650 Woodvil and she get's folded into the rotation. Now all my other mods just sit, when i leave the house i grab the LP without a thought of grabbing anything else. Why? Because it works, i know it will work flawlessly while i'm out. While i'm home it's a rotation of the LP and the Woodvil everything else just sits. So it dawned on me, i need another Reo or three! Apologizes for the wall of text but i had to tell someone about this that understands the Reo experience, when i tell the wife i'm going to buy another couple Reo's at some point she just rolls her eyes and grumbles.

That's awesome Balto, my wife and I came down a very similar path, although you found your way to a Reo quicker than we did.. Its scary to think how many Reo's might end up in a household where the wife doesn't roll her eyes but rather, confiscates the Reo for herself!

Thanks for sharing, baltoace. It's a safe room.

Similar journey here and the way I look at it, we'd just been educating ourselves with all the egos, apv's, and other mechs. Now you're home and the gravity of that is just sinking in. Quality, performance, durability, reliability - it's all there with a reo. The wandering is over and the only thing left is tuning the vape experience and... getting more reos.

We really should have a hotline for reo spousal rationalization (1-800-REO-TALK).

Glad you found your happy place with the reo grand.

I'm in the Air Force and work the flight line. I can remember the day one of my co-workers found out about reos mods. He was a smoker and wanted to start vaping and he was really the only one interested in grands at the time. He was trying to convert all the smokers from cigarettes to vaping, lol.

Anyway, I don't know exactly how he found out about the grands, maybe Google? But he was talking about how it was solid and milled from aluminum block and stored everything inside and you didn't have to drip on it. The next week, he walked in the office with a brand new black wrinkle standard grand (LP version wasn't out yet) with the rm2 on top of it. He was the first person I worked with that had the grand, he was telling everyone about it and let anyone try it who wanted to. Over the course of a month three other people ordered their own standard grands black wrinkle in color with rm2's.

Jump a year and a half ahead, we all deploy to Afghanistan, they all take their grands with them, turn some more people we work with onto REOs mods. I think there were like at least six more people who ordered grands while we were still in Afghanistan and they even had them shipped there. So we get back home from the deployment, now there's like 9 people in the shop all with grands, all of them are mostly wrinkle black with either rm2's or cyclones on top.

Three months ago I finally got on board and ordered my LP grand, since then three other people in my shop ordered LP grands. All together there's about 14 people that all have grands. Even people who owned tube mods or dna's gave in and got themselves a grand. It just works...all day everyday. We work the flightline, sometimes it gets dropped, I needed a device that's gonna take the abuse and environment everyday and keep working. We may not have the cleanest or best looking grands around, but ours have all been through rigorous military testing and have all passed.

Switching to the grand right away was an easy decision, I had so many friends with them already who swore up and down its the best thing available. I listened and have never regretted that purchase. Since then, I noticed my wife stealing my grand on and off, so I surprised her for her birthday and got her, her very own LP grand. We both are very happy vapers.

Edit: My wife knows I really want a new Woodvil when the next new and improved batch comes out, I'm fortunate she's on board with buying more grands in the future. She knows the importance of owning backups and backups for the backups, lol.

Yep the Reo just works. and works and works. No argument. Replaceable parts and the works. I personally tried the RM2, but I prefer a wider draw so I had a Trident V2 modified into a bottom feeder, and it's just awesome. I run it with a dual 26 gauge coil at .37 ohms. Usually I go through a half bottle in a day. Love the Reo

Always reliable - incredibly durable... All day juice supply and all day battery life. Yup. I am sooooo glad that I do indeed understand the REO experience ;)

It actually makes me feel a little sorry for all of those folks who don't understand the REO experience. The P.C. thing to say on ECF is that everyone is different - everyone has different needs - everyone has their reasons to use whatever it is they use... Well, those poor folks without a REO are just plain missing out.

This. Big time. Countless mods and atties and so much money spent on all these different things for different moods, now a mini for work, a copper vein that's well loved for out and about, and a (now) TRA grand with patina brass for the house. That's it, anything else would be for the love of reos and to support Rob, but i really don't NEED a single other thing, it's a beautiful reality I truly think can only be had with the Reo.

You are so right! It just works! Today I sold ALL of my vape stuff that I've accumulated in the past year or so....the stuff I used before this, I gave away.....I have no backup...that's right...just me and my REO and RM2. My hubby is so confused and upset! All he has heard me say in the past 2+ years...gotta have a backup gotta have a backup.....now I don't have one and he is freaking out! Not me....I'll get #2 when she comes along and we meet....I'm well on my way to raising the funds.........until then I have complete faith in my REO and my little rebuild kit I carry. :) REOLOVE

I picked up my first Reo today. Yay for me.
I was lucky though.
A. My wife stopped smoking years ago after our first kid and she is 'mostly' ok with my vape budget (I under report as all wise husbands do).
B. I stopped buying at 1 mech as an ultimate backup. 1 VV, 2 VW's and only 4 toppers.

There is just too much enabling on this forum for me NOT to have noticed and decided early on to end up in Reoville!

Thanks Enablers! You had me at Squonk!
