I have been vaping some DIY juices lately. They are 50/50 PG/VG mixes. I have found that sometimes when I lay down at night, I get a strange "tickley" feeling in the back of my throat. I don't need to cough or anything, just an intense itchy or tickley sensation. Drinking water only helps a little sometimes. A cough drop does help. So, I was wondering if this likely to be caused by either the PG or VG? I wonder if it is the thickness of the VG or if it is more likely to be some sort of reaction to PG? I am hoping that others have come across this too and might be able to give me some insight.

Thanks Wraith, now that I think about it, (since you mentioned it) it might also be the nic. Its pretty darn high @ 26%.

SERIOUSLY? 26% is 260 mg/ml. Most vendors won't even sell anything above 24 mg/ml or 2.4%. I'm surprised you can sleep at all.

Okay, I know that was probably a mistake and you aren't vaping that high. Try lower nic and if that doesn't help try lower PG. If that doesn't work either try lower VG. If could also be the specific brand (such as if you are using Wizard Lab a different supplier might work). BTW, is this multiple flavors? If not it could be that too.

OK Penn, Sorry,my mistake! It is 2.6% or 26 mg/ml. That's still fairly high. As a matter of fact, I am using Wizard Lab nic.. Might be worth trying something different next time. I have just been off cigarettes for a few days now and am not sure I want to lower my nic level just yet. Flavors are another factor I need to look at more closely. I have been vaping tobacco. Lately it has been a mixture of two flavors. I should do a test to determine if one of these flavors is more likely too be causing a problem. Thanks to you and everyone for your help and input!!!!!
