So, the gogo is basically an ego that uses special cartos with a proprietary fitting.

Basically, yes.
 Ego No Go-go...

Thanks for posting in this thread, SSV2. I hope I didn't step on any toes with the "preliminary" Gogo User's guide. I know you are planning to produce a more comprehensive Guide with pictures and a more accurate description of the Gogo and it's use. I wanted to summarize all the info from the current Gogo users that is contained in the ego-t vs Gogo thread. Since there is a short term drought on the product, I thought this would be the perfect time to regroup and summarize what we know. The thread I referenced has over 35,000 hits and runs well over a hundred pages so the interest in the Gogo is definately there. I wanted to keep that fire alive and burning. Any changes, modifications or additional info you can add to this Guide would be greatly appreciated by myself and other members.
IMO: the Gogo is a unique vaping device unlike any other on the market and appeals to those in the vaping community who just want a trouble free, dependable alternative to analogs. The product deserves all the attention it's getting. Hope your fresh stock shows up fairly quickly. I've got quite a few ppl who are dying to get their hands on one, as are many others.

I think you should add a short description of the product at the top. Stress that it is proprietary (or at least right now it is -- let's get those adapters ssv2!). I know that this is meant as a user's guide and not as an introduction or review of the product, but it might reduce the number of questions you are getting :)

Very good point to bring in the fact that the Gogo is a proprietary system. As this guide is not a review of the product, I added the fact in the FAQ section.

Well, just my thoughts, I'm not sure they want the GoGo to become more popular than the others , or it wont be e-cig forum, but GoGo forum. So it gets buried just a little. That's understandable.

Actually, we only move threads like this if there is a more appropriate forum for them to be posted in. It has nothing to do with "burying" anything, and more to do with keeping an organized forum.

Unless I am blind and didn't see it in the original, I think mention of the eGo-T whistle tip and DSE 801 cart soft tip is in order.

If you find the GoGo carto to be larger diameter than you're liking, (1) the blank cart whistle tip that comes with the eGo-T atty can be cut a bit shorter to fit perfectly (thx Panhandler) or (2) the soft tip version on a DSE 801 cart (thx TXTumbleweed) fits in the GoGo carto perfectly. Actually the 801 tip is even better than the eGo-T for this application, both because it is smaller and softer...providing an even better grip and seal insode the GoGo carto

Duly noted, Les. I got some 801 carts with a whistle tip from Nhaler and they are hard plastic and were too small in diameter to fit. Only 4 bucks so I don't mind. So far, for me the Black and Mild whistle tip works very well when you lessen the diameter ever so slightly. I'd like to know how to tell when you're ordering the 801s how to tell if you're getting soft tips or hard plastic. Is there a code# or something?

Mohawkx, the black and mild tips. Are you using the wooden ones or plastic one ? I had problems with the plastic ones ripping.

At Good Prophets the description actually says soft tip. Matter of fact the soft seem to be the only one they carry.

I just got my Go-Go. I went through the guide before I tried using it. I was gentle about filing down the plastic for the charger and when I screwed it together it flashed 3 times and then nothing. I then thought maybe I hadn't removed enough of the plastic, so I took it down some more. That was it! Now when I plug it in and the light changes from green to red to indicate it's charging.

I actually thought I'd taken the plastic down enough, but there was just the tiniest of ridges remaining and that caused the connection to be inadequate.
So, now I have to go and get me one of the counters that shows how long I've been of smokes.
Thanks to everyone on this forum for their help and feed back.
Oh, and for someone new to Vaping this thing hits so much harder than my smokes so I'm thinking it should go a very long way before I have to refill my carts.
