OK, now that I got the right strength liquid, I can't put my 510 down! :D This is *so* much nicer than an analog, I can't believe it. Even with a beginning of a sore throat (gotta vape a bit less, seriously), and with having to always be on the lookout for leaks and having to wipe my tongue on occasion, and washing my hands constantly (paranoid about petting the dog), and the batt dying, and re-filling the carts, it's still way worth it! Maybe they'll solve the leakage issues some time soon - Ye Gods, I hope so...

Anyway. I have a few stupid newb-type questions:

What is the optimum waiting time between drags (for a 510)?

Is it ok to start recharging the battery before it's completely dead, and, after the initial charge, is it ok to only partially charge it?

Does the Pyramid Tea Bag mod help with leakage, or just allows you to put more liquid into the cart? (I'm thinking of trying that, I drink Pyramid Tea anyway, why not...)

Do you keep your liquids in the fridge, or just out?

And finally, for now, does it *always* take a loooooong time for JC liquid to arrive, or am I just lucky? I like the idea of using US-made liquid, but if this is normal, well... I'm not much into patience.;)

(dancing a happy vaper dance)
Briar.

Welcome to ECF!
Yes there will be some leakage, try refilling just a little less, also try laying your 510 on it's side, or batt end up. But batt end up may cause you to vape some liquid in your mouth..drink some water, you will live.
The leakage is at the batt/atty mark? Then the liquid is going down the atty too fast in some cases. For that I would suggest adding a bit of Glycerin (USP or foodgrade only!) to thicken it up and add some extra vapor.
I don't have that model so I can't tell you what the drag per whatever would be, but I seem to be able to vape as much as I like. The cart gets dry in about 10 drags for me.
For the sore throat, you just need to up your water intake. It goes away. Sometimes it is due to a high nic content, tobacco flavors are a bit harsh. just like an analog.
Some do keep liquids in the fridge, most don't. There was a thread here a while back where one guy found his refridgerated juice went bad. So I guess it's up to you. I have mine on my desk, some of it is 4 months old and just needs a little shake to vape.
The tea bag cart filler is good, but I doubt it will stop leaks. Any type of tea bag will do. The teabag method is good for holding more liquid at a time and last longer then the cart polyfiller. I didn't notice a taste difference, but many say it's a nicer, cleaner vape.
You can recharge your battery at any point. But remember they are good for 200 charges..no matter if they are drained or almost full. 200 may be an over estimate too. I never counted!
Hope I helped a bit!

I've seen more than one thread warning about keeping juice in the fridge. Just keep it in a cool, dry, and preferably dark place. Many people buy a tackle box for their juice or keep it in a drawer. Finding rancid juice just sounds sad let alone dangerous. I wouldn't know how to react properly if my wonderful pseudo-crack went bad, but I'm sure crying and poo-flinging would be involved.

I haven't had an issue with my batteries yet and I leave them charging if not in use. Then again, I'm not an aged and salty user (still green) my advise comes from my experiences only.

No idea about wait time from JC but I hear they label their product better and have a safer packaging for their liquids. I would suggest them just for that regardless of wait time.

Wait time between drags? It's more about the atty then anything else. If your atty is feeling hot then let it rest for a few seconds then go at it again. I take about 5-7 drags then put it down and pick it back up when I want some juice, repeat, repeat.

I take it easy like I'm smoking an analog. 15-30 seconds or so - maybe longer. I also feel the outside. When the atty feels warmer than I like, I wait a little longer.

Probably ok. Unlike NiCad batteries of old, Lithium Ion batts don't have memory problems.

Dark, cool place. To fridge or not is still a point of contention here. I keep mine in a closet. Like MaryKay, I always shake before refilling.

Seem JC takes a bit. They make batches to order so takes 'em a little longer. As far as China vs. US liquid. There's no guarantee US liquid is any better. Dekang (a major Chinese manufacturer - around 90% of the market) is a BIG operation and seems to be pretty good. Dekang is probably the most "watched" manufacturer due to its size.
