After A Few Hours With My Mirage Ecig

Hiya guys, My mirage arrived today and I'm impressed but have a couple of questions that I'm sure have been asked before for which I apologise.

Getting good vapour but very little throat hit, now I'm on zero and low nicotine cart/liquid (I gave up analogs few months ago so don't want to get back to high nicotine). My question is is does anyone get a good throat hit on zero nicotine liquid?

Also, thinking of trying ptb mod on a cart to see difference, but why pyramid tea bags? Surely I can just cut up one of my normal tea bags and roll fold insert.. Is there something special about the pyramid material? or brand to come to it.

Many thanks for your patience with stupid questions.

ps - anyone know of a uk based supplier of liquid in bigger sizes (ie 200ml)

Cheers

CH

Suggestions to improve TH without adding nicotine:

Higher level of VG in the mix. Typical PG doesn't produce as much vapor.
Mixing Vodka or PGA into the mix. Non-nicotine, but adds to the harshness of the TH
Use stronger flavors (Cinnamon is great) or add more flavoring to your liquid (pick up lorann's flavorings and add a drop for every 10-15 you use)

The pyramid material is a fine nylon (guessing) mesh. Typical (at least US) standard tea bags are made of paper. While it is true that you can use paper for the filler, you won't get the wicking and capacity benefits that the PTB will give you. In the US, Lipton sells their flavored teas in PTB. There may be other manufacturers who use nylon for their standard flat tea bags, but not in the US.

Happy vaping. And just so you know, if you ever decide to try Higher Voltages, don't do it with the Mirage atomizer. The 401 style atty pops like a fuse when you go over 4 volts.

Happy vaping.

Many thanks for the info, didn't know about nylon/paper difference. My experiment with round tetly teabag didn't go well. lol. Just couldn't 'draw' through it. (tho that could have been badly folded or too much juice. I'll pick up some different flavours later and see if that increased the hit.

I've seen some VG for sale in the Uk for use when making 'bath melts' & 'frozen soap bubble' I'm assuming this wouldn't be any good for inhaling.

Thanks

CH

I assume it a mix of both amount of vapour and flavour/nicotine mg amount.
In my case having not smoked anything in a few months, when I get a good amount of vapour from my 0mg liquid I can feel it hitting the back of my throat in a physical sense but if i use a low mg nictone cart that came with the ecig I feela sort of rasp or 'sting' to the throat.

Ideally for ex smokers who've kicked the nicotine would be large amount of vapour and a strong taste to simulate the nicotine hit.

(sitll looking for uk supplier of suitable VG if anyone knows...)
