Our first starter kits were ordered from Aqua Vapor. After reading the boards and asking if model 510 parts were interchangeable, I ordered another starter kit from LiteCig USA so that we would have backups. When the starter kit from LiteCig came, they would not fit the "510" atomizers, cartomizers nor batteries. We ordered the Joye 510 from LiteCig and I had read good things about it so I suspected that the culprit might be the 510 from Aqua Vapor. Yesterday, a friend sent my husband and me some extra batteries, a cartomizer and an atomizer. These spare parts fit the Joye 510 perfectly, but not the 510 from Aqua Vapor.

The 510 from Aqua Vapor works great and we are still using it. I just wanted to let folks know that if you opt to go with them for your starter kit, you will have to order backups and replacements from Aqua Vapor as their battery connections are a fraction larger and are threaded differently from other 510s.

Hope this information is helpful to someone trying to decided what to purchase and where to purchase from when starting out.

Yep...that's what they call it...well, the one that we ordered. I have been on their site several times and it seems that they switch up models that are offered in their starter kits. I ordered the one with the 510 and it even calls it a 510 in all of the documentation we received. It is the same size as the other 510s we ordered from the other site but, as stated battery connection is maybe a millimeter larger and threads do not match up. Lesson learned. Thankfully it was a relatively cheap lesson. ;)

That's awful. They should not be calling it 510 if it is not 510 threaded. Also avoid FS510 - that is reverse polarity. And we don't know if some other clones might be.

And 510-T (real 510-T batteries) are supposed to use their only own charger, and a 510-T charger seems to have fried and vented someone's Ego battery (these can be charged slowly on normal 510 chargers) so I am suspecting 510-T is reverse polarity (which doesn't bother atomizers or cartomizers but is a dangerous difference for chargers and PCCs)

To be safe I recommend only buying plain Joye 510 batteries, not any other brand, not any that don't say what brand.

And don't mix real 510-T batteries and chargers with 510 batteries and chargers. They should use their own chargers.
(unless you know for sure that your supposed 510-T kit was sold with normal non-T 510 batteries)

The site is formatted like a lot of the scam sites.

Any time you see ads like "As seen on TV", it's time to close the web page.

It appears to be listed as a RN4081 manual in the reviews. I've never had an RN4081, as they aren't very common for ECF users, but I'm guessing that's a 510mini, which might very well be different than a standard 510. The wording on their site is ambiguous, and I'm sure that's on purpose.

Hmmm...site clearly says 510 One.....

The FS510 and FSego are both nice products for a great price. Yes, they have reverse polarity and can not be criss crossed with other brands...you need to keep them separate form your other 510 gear...
Always use the recommended charger for whatever you buy and you'll not risk your equipment.

Always be careful reading when ordering..."for your Joye" may not be Joye.....

I'm not sure I follow. If it isn't a 510, and it starts at the same price as a Riva, and it doesn't fit 510 atty's or carto's, or chargers, or anything else, how is that a "nice product"?

I would be ticked. Heck, I'd be on the better business bureau website within minutes of finding that out.

I just sent them a nastygram with their contact form and told them I thought it was sleazy to call that model 510-anything, that it was confusing to new vapers, and that I was going to warn people away from their model every chance I get.

BTW - the description does say it is RN4081 but as a new vaper you would not know that is a different threading. You can get 4081 to 510 adapters and vice versa is you ever want to (Goodprophets.com and elsewhere)

510-ONE battery description
"Batteries for Classic (RN4081) model fits several popular model ecigs (i.e. Smoking Everywhere, NJOY, etc...) If your not sure about your model feel free to give us a call."

FS is not the OP's 510 One.....

Dormouse mentioned the FS and to avoid it due to reverse polarity....all 510 attys/cartos work on it...you just have to use the charger it comes with.

Let me clarify about the reverse polarity 510 models. As long as an atty/carto can screw on to the threads it will work just fine. You just cannot use a standard charger or PCC to charge the battery. This means you are stuck using the proprietary charging systems. Using the incorrect charger (reversed polarity) will not charge the batteries, and the reverse charge condition could very well damage the batteries or create a safety hazard (depending on the battery and charger safety features).
