Have a Madvapes VV box showing today and my batteries showing sometime in 2012. I would love to give this thing a go this evening but am dead in the water till I get the 14500's. Is there anywhere local to find a similar product, are they flashlight batteries, or designed for some other product? We have a couple of "Battery Plus" locations here locally as well as the "Radio Shack" but both of their web sites suck.

Just didn't know if this was a Wally World type thing that they keep back in the camera flash area, or whether these are specifically designed for vaping.

Thanks for the help in advance.

My "Batteries Plus" indicates having these:

SAFT 3.6V AA Lithium Battery - LS14500BA LS14500BA
AA 3.2V LiFePO4 Battery 2-Pack UL14500SL-2P UL14500SL-2P
Xeno 3.6VAA Lithium Battery - XL-060F XL-060F
Xeno 3.6V AA Lithium Battery W/ Axial Leads - XL-060FAX XL-060FAX

Don't know how to tell if they are protected though, anybody have any ideas on these.

14500 just means 14mm x 50mm (with the protection they are around 52.5mm) and they are 3.7v li-ion batteries. You want the ones with the protection circuit because of safety concerns. Walmart or Radio Shack might carry them but more likely a hobby shop that does remote control electric vehicles is the more likely place but I'm sure at those places they might be over priced..Also try hardware stores ect... You should call around and tell them you need protected li-ion 3.7v 14mm x 50mm (around 52.5mm) rechargeable batteries..MadVapes have thousands in stock now though they just got them in recently...
