He was so inarticulate. He was not informed at all when he was describing flavors or anything else for that matter. He said something to the effect that flavors mask smoking ???? What...??? Once again ignorance wins. Please correct me if i heard him wrong. I contact the ala and aha all the time. Guess I'll have to write one to the aca. Are your heads spinning from all the lies? @SlickWilly CONGRATULATIONS on your conversion and your cancer free status! Nothing to feel guilty about, it's the luck of the draw, a twist of fate, the grand scheme, whatever one chooses to call it. Nothing wrong with questioning it either, life is filled with mysteries to ponder. In the end, just be thankful that you ended up on this side, able to help spread the TRUTH and help your fellow man (person).

You're a man after my own heart (ask anyone who's read my posts ). I'm just glad you are as passionate as you are and you found ECF. The fact of the matter is, this IS what we're up against, lies and propaganda all in an effort to protect the status quo. That's the reason this film is SO IMPORTANT. Keep promoting it everywhere to anyone who will listen and keep shining the light of TRUTH on every lie you see, everywhere! It's something we ALL need to be doing, EVERYDAY!

I just stumbled on this video. He explains the absurdity of the FDA deeming regulations better than I've ever seen before. I have a glimmer of hope that something can be done to stop this from happening. He points out the obvious overreach of the FDA and the fact that they are blatantly going against the intentions of the tobacco Control Act.

A lot of good points made in the video and something most of us here on ECF are familiar with. The problem is disseminating that information to the anti vaping, uninformed public. The DD is so big and so specific that it takes twenty six minutes to even scratch the surface of a condensed version of the regulations. If we could get the general public to sit through this, it would likely have a positive impact but who's going to do that, especially if they've already made their mind up, whether through gut feeling or from the lies and propaganda?

I do appreciate you posting it though. It is one of the best condensed explanations of the DD I have seen . It also contains several quotable scientific FACTS to add to anyone's arsenal of responses to the opposition. I particularly like the FDA's own NIH report (17:30 timeline) running contrary to their own public contention. I guess they took the phrase, "If ya can't dazzle 'em with brilliance, baffle 'em with B.S.!", seriously. Then again, the whole DD was crafted to do just that.

Remember, we have become a nation of short attention span , just give me the sound bite, people. Craft a 500 page document and show it to the 60% or 70% or 80% of the people it doesn't effect directly (Non smokers & non vapers, don't have the exact statistics on that ) and two pages in they're trying to figure out what's on TV or what they're going to have for dinner. The same goes for our side when trying to explain how ludicrous it all is. The best we can hope for is to encourage vapers & non vapers alike to go see A Billion Lives. From there the seeds will be planted, at least that's my hope.

I agree @Von Vape . Seems to be a society of ADD people. If it does not affect them directly, at this moment, move on. Squirrel! Shiney! Please, I do not mean any offense to anyone by stating that. But it is the truth. A movie, with popcorn and a soda, the popcorn may go uneaten and the soda, well, may something to help wash down the choke from reality sinking in. It really took me by surprise, it surprises me after seeing the stunts the FDA is pulling that they haven't been pulled in for a congressional hearing and forced to answer for their overreach in public. Everyone needs to watch this, you'll be shocked.

It's coming. They have to follow procedure first and as the FDA has ignored the letters from two Senate committees, it's just a matter of time before they're hauled in for a hearing.

It's just a shame the wheels of justice roll so slowly. In another thread someone (@clnire ?) posted an article pointing out the FDA's track record is 0 for 2 when they have been called on their regulation attempts so let's hope, Three strikes and THEY'RE OUT!!!

Most are probably on the ABL mailing list but just in case, Aaron & the team want everyone to keep spreading the news. What we're all doing is helping a lot but the more press the better. GO TEAM ABL!!!

Challenges faced by the FDA. Will it lose this battle?

Found it @clnire! Finally! It was Flowersoul. I knew it was one of you vigilant porchers! SO glad you are too.
The two strikes I was referring to are the actual court battles the FDA has previously lost in their efforts to regulate vaping, mentioned in this article and those losses certainly give me hope. Then again, I saw the light at the end of the tunnel once and it turned out to be a train!

I don't know anything about Sen. Johnson or where he stands on vaping so I can't comment on him. I will say, those who want to stop vaping are either ignorant of the truth and the facts or they have another agenda and are willing to let people die for what ever their incentives are. If they are the later, then they are low life, cold hearted .......s, nothing less. And they obviously don't fear judgement day when they stand before God.

@SlickWilly , Sen. Johnson is the Senator who is "requesting" the FDA's documentation for implementing the deeming regulations and is questioning their authority and overreach to do so. He hasn't had much luck. After 3 "requests", he finally got back some non-answer BS and has now threatened to take "more aggressive steps" to gain access to the information.
And yes, I'm with you 10,000% on your closing comment! MONEY is the incentive and may they all burn for putting that before life!

I heard a response to someone asking, "Why is it that the UK is taking such a pro harm reduction approach to vaping and the US is so ANTI?" I thought the response made sense, "England has no master settlement agreement, and they actually have a real national health care system.....they will SAVE money by getting people off smoking. Here, all the states plus the federal government depend on the MSA and tax monies like it is their birthright."
That sums it up pretty well, don't you think?
