I'm 63 yrs. old, soon to turn 64, and have been smoking for almost 50 yrs. After smoking two packs a day for the last 10 yrs. I decided I was tired of giving the state my heard earned money in cigarette tax. I purchased a single throw away e-cig (carto type) about a month ago at a local gas station and haven't had an analog since. I've since moved into the wide, wonderful and sometimes confusing world of vaping. My primary livelihood, to supplement my Social Sercurity, is building and repairing computrers and I tend to smoke very heavily while waiting on repair softwares to run. The e-cig is a blessing to me and to my wallet. I can go up and down stairs without shortness of breath and my house is "beginning" to smell better.
vaping, for me, is a form af addiction in itself but it's healthier and much cheaper than analogs. I had the good sense to do a little research into vaping before making the plungs. I did however make some of the more common beginners mistakes and I have made a couple of not so intelligent purchases but I'm on the right track and learning quick. I have an Ego on order and I believe that will further improve my positive e-cig experience.
Looking forward to some better and healthier yrs. enjoying my Grand and Great Granchildren. :)

Hehehe... my DH & I joke we're going to be like the original Boston Tea Party folks & giving the proverbial finger to the tax authorities with our (hopefully soon -- waiting for kit to arrive) vaping habit. They'll figure some way to tax nicotine sales itself if the cig tax shortfalls from vaping usage.

That is the best reward for your efforts, and your attitude is fantastic. Congratulations & welcome! :)
