Hello, not much to report..just a middle aged man with 2 middle aged dogs and a middle aged common law wife of 25 or so yrs. Started vaping about 3 mos. ago and haven't had an analog cig since. I've been a smoker for around 40 yrs and smoked 2 pks a day until I started vaping.

Other than sore & sometimes bleeding gums which a lot of forum members say is caused from quitting smoking and not from vaping, I like the e-cigs, however I tend to believe it is from vaping. They say to hang tight.. that it will go away, I'm still hanging. That's about the only thing I have against the vaping, really love the $$ I saving though. :thumb:

So glad you are vaping but what's this about bleeding gums? Never heard that is from vaping. I actually have had problems from gingivitis (gum disease) from smoking for 30 years and had a couple surgeries on it. I'm supposed to have another surgery I'm not looking forward to. But it was caused from smoking and just bad luck with my gums and not from vaping. I have great teeth but my gums are a problem.

Smoking and releasing carbon monoxide causes your gums to get tough. Your gums become thicker. I've studied it alot and been dealing with trying to save my teeth since 2004. I go every 3 month to a periodontist for deep root cleanings. It hasn't been fun. I recommend you see a periodontist which specializes in gum diseases. I use proxi brushes and dental floss every night that are on my end table and just do it while watching t.v.

Interesting to hear. I guess since my gums have been such a problem anyways, I've never noticed anything negative from vaping. My periodontist told me my gums would get pinker and healthier from vaping. And they have. I have vaped 2 years now. But the damage from all the years of smoking and due to just bad luck, I have problems.
